Of course I thought the subject line said "new adversary DALEKS", and I thought 'well, duh - they're Daleks. Of course they're adversaries!' quickly followed by 'wait, what are Daleks doing in Star Wars'.

I have a question about the Adversary decks. I don't have any myself.

Do the Adversaries have all the same equipment, talents and gear listed on the card other than just the picture, characteristics and skills?

What I'm saying is, if I pick up the Dark Trooper, will I see the Adversary 1 Talent, the Missile Tube and the other weapon they carry or is it just stats and skills?

Thanks, I might have to pick these up at some point. I don't necessarily want to reveal the wounds/strain/soak of all adversaries to the players but it might come in handy.

Oh I know it's not for them but my players tend to want to read through things sometimes. I try my best to keep them away from the Adversary section of the CRB. I have a bad feeling that they will see the art on the deck and just grab for it. Thankfully though, the majority of my adversaries are custom unless they are minions, so I can just use Oggdude's GM Tools to make a custom stat card for them.

(good news is that apparantly someone ran another print of the old adversary decks, so now I have all of those together with the crit decks)

Any clues as to when they'll be available to resellers? Really don't want to spend AU$80 on them...

They were in pretty much every store, so I doubt the retailers themselves ordered prints individually.

The margins on the POD products are generally lower, which means it costs distributors and shops more over time to keep inventory, which is why a lot of shops don't carry the decks, or perhaps why a lot of distributors might not bother to reorder after their initial purchase sells out. I imagine that could sting if you were in a country where your shops could not buy direct from FFG (or at least not economically), and your local distributor didn't want to deal with these low-margin products.

Ultimately, these don't have print runs and don't go out of print. Aside from a small quantity that FFG probably keeps on hand to satisfy consumer website orders, they basically make them when they get an order from a shop or distributor.

If you can't find them at a local shop, bug the shop owners until you find one who will bug his distributor on your behalf. Other than that, you can order from FFG's website.

Lets see - ordered the cards on Thursday, shipped today. Figuring that the USPS takes about 3 days to get packages to me, I'll have them well before the weekend.

Got my set today. Quality is identical to the last set (so...really good), but it really feels like the "Hunters and Force Users" deck was padded out to hit the 20 card mark. "Dandy Gambler" and "Accomplished Mechanic" fit neither category.

Both of those are adversaries from the F&D CRB. Both have a Force rating, I recall.

Yep. The Dandy Gambler has a really interesting Force ability. One of the few times having a LOW Force Rating is better than a HIGH one!

I missed these at first, but all of the Adversary decks are great. I use OggDude's tools to create all my encounters, including the various npcs, critters, important adversaries, etc. I use the Adversary cards when my PCs INEVITABLY go so far off track I have no material in my notes.
