I lucked out and bought a set of Rocks/debris on Ebay for $40 about 2 weeks ago
What with the way that the UK woke up this morning, CombatZone Scenery is suddenly much more affordable for the US.

When you have the 3d models for the asteroid and debris like this, what do you do for the overlap situations ? (Specifically when it's a complete overlap where it would be directly under your ships base )

Usually I've seen people leave the cardboard asteroid underneath the 3D one, then just pick up the 3D one in this situation. This is why I'm personally not a fan of the 3D ones: not worth the inconvenience to me. It's not terrible, just one more thing to measure around, pick up and scootch, etc.
I'd be interested in a set of space rocks if anyone is looking to sell. Shoot me a PM. Prefer from UK or Aus. USPS costs are ridiculous.

We had this happen in our first game using the 3d fields/debris, we just slide the rocks/debris to the side of the ship and delt the dmg with the understanding that that the ship is in the filed and is obstructed. For Squadrons we placed the base at the edge and stated that tehy are in the field/debris. While the 3d items do pose this challenge. They do bring a whole new life to the game
Been looking for a set of SpaceRocks station and debris myself, had it in my to buy list. Sadly, Mickey Mouse shut them down before I ordered (had I known, I had ordered immediately).
No way to get one now.
The Combatzone stuff looks great, just afraid I can't paint stuff.
