Actually just had a glimmer of a solution to all our problems. We do a swap with the USA. Trump supporters for remain voters. we'd have to work out what the exchange rate was, is one Remainer worth a Trumper for example? Maybe go on GBP/Dollar exchange rate which just got a lot more favourable for the US. So you get to send approx 1.3 Trumpers for every remainer that goes there. At that rate you'ed get to send about 21 million Trumpers here. (The rate should be higher though, so you'ed probably be able to send more than that)

If we can't agree an exchange rate we could try sweetening the pot and bring Prince Harry, he's got to be worth a few million trumpers the way US women swoon over him every time he goes over there :-) This could also have effect of maybe starting an official US ruling dynasty instead of the unofficial Clinton/Bush ones you have going on :-)

Another advantage to the swap, trump would only have to rebuild (the Roman foundations are still there in most places) a wall 84 miles long to keep the foreigners out. And I'm betting the Scots wouldn't mind giving a few quid to make sure the wall was high enough to stop escapes from the south.

We Italians already have trouble with English born Americans, most seem to think the UK has the only royal family in the world, this of course pales in comparison to conflicts we have. I certainly wouldn't want to impugn the honour of such a noble woman. In the end America is ******, you all had three chances to elect an actually respectable person and you threw it away. Mind, Canada isn't much better. We've got a Prime memester with really nice hair and such progressive ideas. Those who have said Western Civilization is collapsing are rgiht but it's not Brexit or Trump/Shillary who are doing it.

After, what?, 8 hours of grilling (edit, actually 11) Hillary over the Benghazi/eMail thing the Republican committee not only failed to find anything they could accuse her of, they actually made themselves look so foolish that they probably helped her chances of getting elected. I watched some of that hearing and it was even more embarrassing than the Republican norm. Government is needed because everyone acting independently can only accomplish so much. Even as hunter/gatherer clans we needed to organize in order to feed everyone. That's a government. If you could somehow get rid of the concept at this point (a preposterous notion) it would result in the starvation of most of the human race as it requires the organization and stability provided by government to allow a society to carry out basic tasks like growing food. A lack of government inevitably leads to tyranny as the strongest impose their will on the weakest.

Sadly, the larger the government the greater the bureaucracy, corruption and waste. But so far, in the millenia since humanity first elected a hunting leader, the benefits of greater unity have outweighed the drawbacks. Conceivably a single constitutional government that the entire human race was united behind would reverse that trend, but I doubt it.
