Why are there Guidance Chips on Palob?
Accuracy Corrector doesn't make much sense on a natural 3 die primary. Advanced Sensors or FCS will serve you way better. Also a Starviper without Autothrusters is a very dead Viper.
BTL and Autoblaster are not a great combo because it's almost impossibly limited in range. You'd be better off running a generic Y with Autoblaster and no title.
TLT will allow Palob to do more damage since your list is extremely low damage overall.
What do you mean you know how to keep Talon stressed? The only way I can think of is by K-Turning or flying through debris which I don't recommend doing with Talonbane since he usually blows up very early.
In terms of lists you'll face I would certainly expect to see Imperial aces early and I'd be worried about dealing with these with pretty much everything in this list.
I'm assuming that:
a) your 1 Y-Wing comes from a Most Wanted pack
b) you only have 1 copy of each card acquired on e-Bay (according to your sig)
1st round: 60 pts

Talonbane Cobra (28):

Binayre Pirate (12):

Still 149 pts, but a much better 1st round.
If you want to improve your 2nd round, you may play the 1st without [Crackshot, Greedo, Unhinged Astromech] to give Guri PTL. Granted, it's not easy to fly Guri with that setup but, it's either that or just Predator/Autothrusters, since you don't have Sensor Jammer.
Edited by K GenesisDrea is not a BTL pilot, nor an auto blaster turret pilot. I like dorsal turret or a ion cannon turret on her. Without an engine upgrade, and being lower PS, Drea will have difficulty getting aces in arc. I just had this discussion regarding TLT BTL's. I tend to run Drea stress heavy.
This is my 60 point list.
Y-Wing: · Drea Renthal (22)
Proton Torpedoes (4)
Ion Cannon Turret (5)
Guidance Chips (0)
· R4-B11 (3)
Z-95 Headhunter: · N'dru Suhlak (17)
· Lone Wolf (2)
Cluster Missiles (4)
Guidance Chips (0)
Glitterstim (2)
-- TOTAL ------- 59/60p. --
The plan, which doesn't seem to work in 60 point games, is to get as much stress on Drea as possible. I'm good at avoiding red manuevers and don't need green for clearing stress. TL first target. Spend TL to activate torps. Drea's ability to get another target lock against same target. Spend target lock to reroll however many dice, Drea stresses again and retarget locks. Defender rolls defense dice, you spend TL to activate R4-B11, defender rerolls what you tell them. Take stress and target lock you target for next turn. If you ran the gimmick right, you should have three stress on Drea by the end of the first round of shooting. Then use ion cannon to set N'dru up for massive explosive.
I'm not sure I'm a fan of lightening reflexes on Guri. Guri NEEDS autothrusters. Granted, you'll need to shave four points just to put a naked Guri out there.

This looks great--your assumption was correct regarding cards except I have two Chimps. The Chimps on Palob on original list was a carryover from when I had a turret or missile on him.
Isn't Virago 1, not 2? And Palob adds up to 28, so that first round is at 60. It ends at 150, so it works as you've listed except I need to switch Talon for Guri in the 90-point round.
Thanks to everyone for the comments. I've been at this maybe two months now. I don't want to add more ships until I have a better handle on the ones I have.

Opportunist (4)
Blaster Turret (4)
· Dengar (3)
Y-Wing: · Kavil (24)

Unhinged Astromech (1)
In round two, you'll want get opportunist on Kavil as well. There is nothing like Kavil rolling 5 red dice on whomever Palob removed the focus from. You may even switch it in the first round knowing it'll become less likely once Palob is gone.
Yes, you're absolutely correct. Got my math confused, sorry about that.
It still clocks in @150, so we're good. Get wave 8 ships, though...they'll open up your possibilites like crazy and are great ships to fly as well. Best of luck.

While a juicy option, I believe he doesn't have Imperial Aces (I still think Opportunist should've been on MW, it's made for Scum).
Nothing e-Bay won't solve, though.
I am considering getting an IG in anticipation of Shadow Caster in Wave 9 along with 2 Fangs! Funds extremely limited and watched carefully by my better half! I will check eBay for Opportunist.
What's better on an opportunistic Kavil, unhinged astromech or R4 Agromech?
Unhinged. You can't rely on straights only to keep Opportunist'ing.
OK, I lost the first match to Wedge and a B-wing. I rolled three hits with most of my attacks (Pabs got whacked quickly, however)--wish they had more effect using TLT but I'm happy with this list. I flew well and even my K-turned Kavil put me face into the final volley rather than having them burn me from the side or behind. Wedge brings a lot of dice to an attack! I had the B-Wing down to final hull, too. All in all, a fun learning match, as I hoped this event will be.
Next match is next week.
You lost to a jousting list, which means you gotta practice space control. Spread it out, don't let them pin you down (easier said than done).
I'm glad you enjoyed it, though.
Round two, I was able to take on Darth Vader and two Phantoms, and TLT was magic. I lost my Kavil but scooped his force.
Round three didn't happen and I got a win.
Round four was a gas, Scum v Scum: he flew Mist, Tando, Y-wing, Murkil, and Interceptor. I had hot dice vs cold dice on him, but he was able to tractor Palob onto the edge of an asteroid, meaning I had to flew through it, giving him a chance to ion it. Kavil got a crit that limited manueverability, and while I was able to nail his Y-wing and get several ships to within 1 hull, he cleaned up. One terrible mistake on my part was a K-turn with Talonbane while he was stressed--I just didn't pay attention to that, so instead of the gutsy play that should have finished his Y-Wing, he got to redo my manuever, which left me with two stresses! Not too bad as my first time playing the list. I should be able to make the cut and play a 3-round tournament.
