Thanks! Obiwonka wanted a Green Squadron Pilot so that's next in the painting queue. After that, I feel like I should paint a couple Imperial ships so I don't blow my cover. Being a double-agent is nerve-wracking. Haha!

Second commission piece finished. Here's my take on the Green Squadron pilot. This one was a lot harder that the Iron Man A-wing or the one I painted in the Viridian colors.

I like that green. It's nice and vibrant.

Alright...Here's my attempt at an E-wing. My son chose the stripe pattern on this one, so it's okay, but I'd have gone for something a bit bolder myself. When I get around to getting him a wingmate I'll see what else I can come up with:

Next up is another commission. This one is a stealth TIE interceptor. It's going to be fun because it's so different from anything else I've done.

These are great! Themed squads are really fun to come up with, but I always get distracted by some new technique/style and stray from my original ideas xD.

It can get a bit repetitive, but when I get tired of painting one paint scheme over and over, I just paint something else for variety. Currently, I've planned out paint schemes for my Rebellion ships, a different one for the Resistance, Empire, First Order, and Mandalorians. I'm just not sure what to do for the other Scum, but it will be a while before they make it to the top of my backlog.

The great part about X-wing vs. other games is that if they sit unpainted in my backlog for a while, no one really notices!

Wow! I agree the stripe scheme isn't quite as striking as the others, but man does that shading look amazing!

Oh man! It's been a while since I've been able to get on the forum. My family and I were rear-ended on the interstate, which has lead to physical therapy and endless fights with the insurance companies. Car was totaled, but we were all belted in and there were no major injuries so for that I am grateful. That said, I can't wait to dig through the Painting & Mods forum to see what you loons have been up to in my absence! Here is my own contribution.
