Here's my next TIE. I'm not really happy with the stripes on the solar panels (I shamelessly stole the pattern from another thread here). It was a bear trying to get even coverage and keep straight lines with all the ridges on the panels. I will probably go back and do a little more touching up before it gets the varnish, but I had to take a break from it before my eyes went cross and I lost my few remaining marbles. My next project is a wingman for the T65, and then I'm working on my first commission. I'll post those up when they are completed.

Amigo, don't be so hard on yourself. The lines look pretty good from here, but I understand your pain; even if no one else seems to see or mind the imperfection, we still do.

Finished my first commission piece! I already fixed a couple of spots on the gold that I didn't notice until I took the photos. I just need to varnish it and pick out the reactor and canopy with some gloss before it is complete. The idea was to have an Iron Man-themed A-wing. I like the way it turned out, and I think it needs its own custom pilot card!

Yes, I've been painting minis since the Fellowship of the Ring movie came out. Saw some of GW's minis and I just had to have them. This is the first time I've ever done any kind of commission work, though.

Actually, there is a Y-wing (with a wingman on the way), a B-wing, and a K-wing, all awaiting overhauls from the mechanics and a fresh coat of paint before they are cleared for active duty with the Starfighter Group.
