We played some Demolisher chicken, but my only real hope was to get lucky and pop his so he couldn't get tokens. I was using the default fleet, so I consider a minor loss as good as a win in this case.

lots of 7+accuracy rolls from his frigate and mc80 on natural dice, and I made plenty of mistakes which hurt too

He had an average bombing run on ISD2 on turn 2 and positioned his Demo for a double-tap on turn 3 (It was obvious that my ISDs will ram and stay in place turn 3).

However my ISD activated first and with a pretty lucky roll was able to one-shot Demo (with a finishing ram) as well as to do a full front arc into speed 0 VSD.

Meanwhile a second ISD put some serious hurt on his flagship and dropped him to speed 0 due to comm noise. By the end of the round it was obvious that my first activation round 4 will finish up both VSD's so my opponent conceded.

We were tied on Fire lanes tokens, so

10-0, 400 MOV

Pairings are actually random between people with the same number of tournament points if we are using the latest tournament regulation put out by FFG (1.0.4). So doobleg are you using MOV or random pairings?

Postponed due to EH Taylor and having WAY too much fun watching the Miferr/WhatsArmadaWithYou match!

After 4 rounds, Whats ArmadaWithYou is up 62-0! He has taken out one TRC90 and an A-wing. Demo is looking shaky with a TRC90 right on its tail, but the TRC90 has a pixel of its front arc in Demo's side arc! Ruh Roh!

It's been a blast playing so far, but we will continue tomorrow. Thursday, 6/30 at 7:00PM Central, 5:00PM Pacific, Midnight GMT.
