I may have missed it but how does one gain further attunement of the items, is there any cost involved? The same goes with creation of attuned items. I cant find any rules for it, or do i just assume that attunement is gained per rank?

You didn't miss it. There is no "cost" for attuned items. Only information we have is that the GM can provide them to apprentice wizards and it an involve process to attune. Best is to make up your own rules or hope the rules come out soon.

I am glad im not going mad, its one of the few things i picked up on that has not been covered even on the errata or the rules forum. Hopefully that magic supplement will be coming soon!
