Two questions

By Norell, in Star Wars: Armada Rules Questions

Greetings Community!

I've recently bought the game and I love it so far! I even managed to convince my wife that this is a good game :D

But I have two questions about the rules:

1) If we have only one core set and we both want to use the same modification card for our build, how do we decide who gets the card?

2) If you use the Squadron command you can move and fire with the squadrons, that's clear. But can I choose whether to move or fire with them first, or I have to move then fire?

Thanks in advance for your help :)

Greetings Norell,

first of all: do you love your wife? In case give her the upgrade-card... :D

To be serious, there is no rule how to share upgrades. And as lang as you're not playing official matches, don't worry about it. You can use a piece of paper to create a double.

When you activate a squadron you can move and fire at any order. For example, when your squadron is engaged, you could destroy the enemy squadron and then move on. Or you could move in, engage and then fire.

May the Force be with you! (And let your wife be the Empire. The StarDestroyer is easier to play with.)

To answer your questions.

1) in casual games, its not really an issue having limited cards, just use a proxy for them so that you both know that it is there. Only when you start plsying in organized play events does it really matter.

2) you can do it in whatever order you would like. You can move in to a target and attack, or you can attack your target and move (so long as you aren't engaged)

Questions may have already been answered, but wanted to say welcome all the same!

Thanks for all the answers and the warm welcome :)
