So a local store is sponsoring a tournament with the following rules:

The PARADOX ALLIANCE Tournament is a special event in which Force Builds will ignore ALL Faction limitations. Any ship can be put with any other ship within a Force. In addition, alignment restrictions are removed from all weapon, special ability and crew cards.

This tournament focuses on fast and fun play, breaking the alignment rules for a one-of-a-kind "What If" event.

My list of ships (see below) may have the addition of the Imperial Veterans expansion, so I have no idea what I could bring to this, but if you were going, what would your squad look like?

I thought this might be a fun diversion while we wait for some kind of spoiler post from FFG.

The last time I went to a mixed faction tourny, the biggest killer i went up against was whisper backed by a Jan Ors piloted hawk and Biggs. Five dice whisper is not to be trifled with. Especially when you can't shoot her....

meh, it has some crappy offense and it still dies to torpscouts

Isard is a free evade action which doesn't stack with MF title

stacking evades requires Jan Ors with either KK HWK or Manaroo, as far as I know. The only ship I've seen that can pull it off in an effective, self sufficient manner is Ezra (shuttle) with PTL and jan ors going
