A Classic xwing, a t70, and awing. So with the red starter xwing t65 i have a small fleet. How do you advise to assemble them? Three ahip tooled or four naked ship?
and so i bought.
normally 3 named pilots with gear (when set up well) will beat 4 naked ship ......normally there are so many variables its hard to give you a definitive answer (including your opponents list and skills as a player). Action optimisation and efficiency is what you want to look at to start with. Hope that helps
Firstly you need to give more information in your subject. People will read it as click bait and most likely ignore it, or say something else that isn't helpful.
Best thing to do if you are new to X Wing is to watch YouTube Videos. There are a lot of helpful bloggers out there, even watch a few battles, see how what you have fares. IMO, naked ships dont do well, you need something to help modify your dice, whether it be modifications, crew etc. The other thing you should do, and this depends on who is in your area is play test a list at least 10 times. Sometimes you might be unlucky, other times you might be lucky, you need to get an inkling on how the list flies and against various targets.
Hope this helps.

next you might want to look at Rebel aces it will add a lot to your A wing

This is so refreshing! Remember when this wasn't true? When people would say, "Yeah, the named pilots have fun abilities, but the generics give way more bang for your buck." I feel that overall the PS war is more balanced, if perhaps leaning to the higher, named pilots just a bit.

Like I said this is dependant on your opponents list and skill level e.g. an experienced player with BBBBZ should wipe out most new players with pimped out Aces
My advice would be as follows;
1) get on eBay
2) sell those dirty rebel scum and never again speak of the mistakes you made in buying them.
3) with your return on the rebels, buy tie fighters! And lots of them!
4) prosper!
In all serious though, just get those things on the table and experiment. You'll find your own line in the sand on ships vs upgrades in no time.
Welcome to the game!
Thanks everyone, I already have righteous imperial fleet
( red box tie, tie exp, interceptor, advanced and aces, phantom) I have build a rebel fleet to have a 2nd fleet... But as imperial I prefer swarm, I wished to know if rebel can swarm too or prefer beefy ship.

You need some defenders.
They are nexr on the list with inquisitor and veterans... Maybe a medium ship but which?
For rebels I plan on millennium veteran b and k wing.
Maybe in the middle the scums ship with 2 autothruster...
Don't know if I go to a tournament, but if I go I will use imperial
Maybe some large ship can be of use?

Z95..... you can get about 8 of them for 100 points from memory
I've actually found eBay to be generally more expensive than Cool Stuff Inc., Miniature Market and Amazon. Why buy used when you can buy new for less? Of course, I'm in the US so I can qualify for the free shipping on $100+ orders at CSI and MM. I also have Amazon Prime for free(ish) 2 day shipping from there.

Rebels can swarm but perhaps slightly differently to Imperials. You can run 8 Z-95 Headhunters in 100 points if you want but I think they would probably be slightly inferior to 8 Ties.
Rebel A-wing crack swarm is proving quite popular though, normally 5 of the following ships.
20 Green Squadron Pilot (19), Chaardan Refit (-2), Autothrusters (2), Test Pilot (0), Adaptability (0), Crackshot (1)
Chaardan refit keeps them cheap. Autothrusters keep them alive. Crackshot helps them to force damage through. Adaptability allows them to push up to PS4 to challenge other EPT generics like Black Squadron Ties or drop down to PS2 for better blocking, you can even fly a mixture if you wish.

The best thing about X-wing is its really up to you how you want to play the game. For fun anything goes or tornys things are a little more comped.
So fly how you like and enjoy the models and take expansion 1 at a time.
Allright people, thank you all! I will try the Rebels with a three pieces list, against an imperial miniswarm phantom/interceptor/2tie/howlrunner..... Then i'll ad just!
