When the carrer is complited?

By ffgfan, in WFRP Rules Questions

The rulebook in this point is not clear for me, so I got a few questions:

1. What upgrades can the player buy and where he can see them? Are they on his carrer card if yes thaen how the carrer card shows what can he buy and what he can't?

2. When the carrer is complited?

The character can buy the ten items listed on his character sheet under General Career Advances. The first four are generic advances that has nothing to do with the career. The last 6 (Open Career Advances) are references to the Career Sheet. The character advances 6 of the ten options listed in the Advance Options box. Or, he can use any of these advances to advance his characteristic values instead.

Eg, If the Career Sheet shows Actions:2 he can spend up to 2 Open Career Advances buying new Actions. If it lists Skills:3, he can spend up to 3 Open Career Advances training (or attaining advanced) skills listed under his Career Skills.

On finishing the career (gaining the last of ten advances) he can spend an extra Advance and buy his dedication bonus. Then he has to start spending Advances towards the career change.

The dedication bonus is to keep the career ability card forever, and a specialisation in every career skill he has advanced over the course of that career.

afaik.
