Z95 Missile Swarm

Blount - VI, thread tracers

Bandit squad - concussion missile, guidance chips x 5

Could this list be viable in the current meta? I think it would be pretty strong against most lists, biggest threat would be aces lists that could take out Blount before he can fire. Thinking maybe I should drop a missile and run that Z out front as a blocker to keep opponent at missile range and have a few points to keep Blount alive (shield upgrade?)

I've thought about this a bit too but I was thinking of using the PS4 Talas, just to get the jump on low PS stuff. I think my 100pts got me:

Blount, Adaptability, Tracers

The Tala with tracers just there because I couldnt fit another concussion, but he'd probably come in handy in the second round of fire, especially as some Talas may then be at R1.

Talas fire before U-boats which is a big deal. The other thing to remember is that Concussion missiles struggle against Aces. It might be worth considering loading some of them up with Homing Missiles. If Soontir has already lost his Stealth Device to Blount then Homing Missiles stand a realistic chance of landing some damage on him, even if Palps is watching his back.

The other thing to consider is to run Biggs alongside Blount. A smart player will try to take out Blount with higher PS ships if he can (or strip his Focus token with Wes).

Having Biggs alongside will make sure that Blount lives long enough to work his magic. You can even give Biggs some torpedoes to contribute to the alpha strike.
