So I am looking to get into Armada and was wondering if there are any standing game nights going on near me (Somerset County NJ)? I've looked around and there are a fair amount of X Wing games going on, does Armada have a similar following?

Any help or a point in the right direction would be great!

Northern NJ is tough. I only know of places in Boonton (Highlander Games) because they hosted a SC. Even if you go west, there isn't anything much in Eastern PA.

I'm infinitely more versed in what's around Philly/Southern NJ.

Hey, I'm looking at 2hr trips for any Armada action. Everything is close under that distance.

Yeah that's what I have been seeing. I was hoping there was something that's just wasn't listed. 2hrs is a bit too far. Anything in Central Jersey? Boonton is doable are there many people at Highland?

As someone who used to live in Somerset, I always found it funny that people north of there referred to it as South Jersey, and people south of it referred to it as North Jersey. I guess it's all a matter of perspective.

Anyway, maybe next time I visit I'll try to link up with one of you guys for a game. As long as I don't need to bring my own ships... Serious luggage space issue. StandNFight, please have two entire fleets each of Rebels and Empire by Christmas.

I want to say a pal of mine has seen a store near him in Flemington running X Wing, but that's a rumor and I'm not sure where that is in comparison to you.

There is a place in Flemington, Comic Fusion, they have regular X Wing game in Wednesday's and usually have a fair turnout. I have been there a few times and they are a good group. Not sure if they get into Armada as well.

Miferr if I can find a place to play regularly I may take you up on that by Christmas. That does beg another question, any advice on storage?

I played a tournament at Highlander, got my !@#$ kicked, but the folks are really cool.

For Somerset county / central jersey, I think "The Only Game in Town" in Somerville has an Armada night on Sundays

(I only just recently moved back to the Somerset area a few months ago ( I grew up in Franklin ), so I haven't had a chance to stop by).

Got in a game last night at Highlander with a really nice dude.... If we can find two more, we could have four regulars...?

Highlander is about 2hrs away, so for middle of the week stuff I can't pull it off, but if they host any weekend tournaments I can try and swing it. Thanks for the info!

I was not. I had been eyeballing it, but I think I got stuck working or I had committed to one elsewhere. Probably work... that boned me out of two of them at least.

Let's do it! What days are best for you? I think I can make Mondays and Wednesdays work. I can do weekends as well.
