z95 khiraxz swarm

im looking at trying this

3x z95 pirates

2x khiraxz cartels

1x tansarri vet with tractor beam and ptl

should have enough hit points to last a while. not sure on the attack side. haven't run swarms really

the idea was to fly the z95 out front and the rest follow to mop up with a bit of focus fire after the tractor hits

thoughts?

25 hp with 14 red dice, I don't think that's anything to sneeze at.

The only things I'd toss out are the standard upgrades. Feedback array on pirates, that way you can make them bumpers and ace killers. Glitterstem on cartels or crackshot on aces.

yeah would need to drop a z95 for that. i would like to try the hot shot blaster actually. could be good on the zees and chuck feedback on the fighters

That would definitely help with arc dodgers. Do to your numbers, and some skillful blocking, you should be able to tie up an ace, giving you some decent shots on an ace without dice modifying defense. For those who fall out of your arc, you have a one shot 360 3 dice hit. I don't think a lot of people run the hot shot blaster. I've always liked it, but depending on the build, we have some other good options.

Also, 5 naked kihraxz's has been successful. I like swarms myself. I'd be more inclined to run more ships with fewer upgrades.
