Lambda target lock ability

By Ezekiele2517, in X-Wing Rules Questions

First of all, sorry everybody if i just opened a topic for a relatively old large ship. Is it possible for Lambda, with the right pilot O/B, to pass target lock to a ship who DO NOT have target lock ability by default?

Newbie say thanks everybody! :)

Yes, any ship can be given action or token that are not on their ship action bar.

What the action bar mean is when the ship must choose an action, it must be one from it's bar.

So if an effect give you a Free Barel Roll action, you can do it whatever you have the action or not.

If an effect give you an Evade Token, you can get it, whatever you have the action or not on your bar.

But if an effect say, you may perform a Free Action. Without telling you which one, you must choose one from your action bar.

There is rules reference and FAQ about this, but don't feel like searching for them when you could

Muri's got it right, short answer is "yes" - ships can maintain target locks even if they can't produce them.

Also, welcome to the forums! There's no such thing as a stupid question, just stupid answers.

Of which I am guilty of many

There's no need to be rude about things here. The Rules subforum is a place for any question if someone isn't understanding something. We're not here to belittle people.
