Some things I found interesting:

"About half" of Imperial "fleet" are TIES, split almost evenly between original and FO (55/45)

The Xwing's are alive and well! 47% of Rebel fleet (I'm guessing number of ships total) is either T-65 or 70, and most of these are 65s!

Pretty even split between Imperial (36%), Rebel (36%) and Scum (29%)

It matters both what people bring AND what wins.

If 5 dash lists are played and all 5 make it into the cut, while 30 imp aces lists show up and 8 make it into the cut (as examples), that doesn't mean the imp aces are necessarily better just because more of them made the cut.

Was there today supporting friends, and I had to admit, there was a good bit of variety in the meta. A few caveats to that statement: it was Thursday so the field was super small. Felt like maybe 32 players? Kinda? By round four though, table one was Wolf Pack (3x jumpers) versus Rook squads Dengaroo. Both undefeated at that point. And there were only five rounds today. Win three rounds to make the cut. There actually weren't that many X-wings really. There were like four Poes, three Biggs, a Wes, and an Ello, or something like that. Ace's abounded. Phantom was still being a Menace. Think I only saw one Ghost? Talked to two Brobots players. Those are some very rough totals.

But that was the first day, and it was a Thursday, of an event most will travel for.
