Does anyone else think that Nationals and Worlds should move to a different location each year to give those players who cannot afford to pay for air fare and hotel a chance to participate. There is no reason why a city like Tampa, Orlando, or Atlanta could not host regionals or worlds and make it easier for players who don't live up north to make it to a premiere event for a change.

First alternate location for next year being Anchorage, AK!

None of those places make anything easier for me. If they move an event they should move it to Vegas. Everywhere in the continental US has cheap as hell flights to Vegas.

It's a balance between variety and having a consistent, practiced routine to make sure the event goes smoothly.

I so want to go to Vegas. I've never been.

I would be all on board for this! I am moving from KC to Vegas and they seem to have a pretty good group along with the before mentioned cheap flights!

Worlds ain't moving. It is important to point out that the major tournaments are were they are due to the major gaming conventions. It is far easier for FFG to have the tournaments there than try to find a new venue just for their games.

There are other gaming conventions such as Dice Tower Con in Orlando every year. Finding a different venue is not that difficult.

Why not Toronto, or Ottawa Canada.

It's is a "worlds" event and if it was to move around then I feel it should move to different countries. I'm sure ffg employees may not mind, get to travel to new spots, see other parts of the world and having their travel costs all covered as business expense

I think it would be a great idea. If it was in Toronto I'd make the trip, and I know many others who would that otherwise will never bother fly down to where they have it now. If it was in London, France or Italy I'd also probably have a much easier time to convince the wife Since for her there would be a lot more things she'd be interested in while I'm playing xwing.

I'm sure many others spouses wouldn't mind either.

And Vegas, meh, been there a few times. Now that they no longer have the star trek ride at the hilton I have no desire to ever go back. What a freaking amazing ride, the borg 4d, and whatever the other one was called one of the best rides I ever been on, next to the Harry Potter ride
