Yeah, $160 for eight squadrons is steep, especially when the rest are useless in large numbers.

Especially with more squadrons probably coming out soon and Flotillas pushing squadrons. I put my foot down at 6 YTs.

I can attest Mon Mothma and MC30s are a match made in heaven. Admonition was almost always the last to die, unless I did something stupid with him. SO pleased Mon Mothma was repped so well. She has been my answer to most issues in the meta and it looks like she flew well today.

Mothma and Rieekan are tough admirals to counter. And prepare for the insanity that will be TRC90 swarms with friggin' Madine. They will be impossible to predict.

eBay was selling them for $6-$8 a piece not too long ago. I guess they sold out because I can't find them anymore.

You guys could be like me and just end up buying them a pack at a time over the course of months...

It's much easier when you are only spending $20 at a time. This stuff only adds up if you add it up.

You could also bum them from friends. That works just as well, and as you an see from my post history, I'm good at that too.

The problem they probably ran into was they would get about $6 for the 2400 and roughly the same for the Firespray, then a few bucks on the rest of them. So after feeBay fees, PayPal and shipping, they were probably losing money.

Well lets be honest. If you're selling on ebay to make a profit, you're not buying them for $20 a pop at your FLGS. You're buying them amazon or Miniature market for $13-14

Even then, you're raking in $12-16 per R&V set (because, let's face it, no one is buying the other ships), losing $2/3 to fees and another $3/4 to shipping, so you're looking at about ten bucks plus a bunch of R&V squadrons you can't sell.

EDIT - Now buying MC30cs in bulk and selling the TRCs and APTs. . .that's where the money is.

I'd pay pay 10 for 2 squadrons with cards. And sure Firesprays and YT2400's would be very popular, certainly your going to see others that are not as popular sell as well. Even some of the ships that are considered useless would see, and you never know when a card or ship will drop making it so people want that ship they don't have much of.

Raiders and ISD's do nicely. Raiders have the damage, and ISD's with a few engineering commands can just ignore them.

To be serious I can see AWings as a counter on a rebel side and possibly Dengar with TieAdv/Agressor spam on Imperial side.

I won't be surprised to start seeing QLTs (or QLT/PDR combo on ISD1) to appear. And you're correct, flak helps a lot against any kind of a squadron spam.

Yup, beat me to it. A-wings counter YT-2400 spam hard.

I ran 7 yts against an ISD and I couldn't out damage the engineering even with fair rolls (I was getting about 5 damage per turn out of them). Learned a lesson that day.
