Has anyone purchased Labyrinth of Ruin, Shadow of Nerekhall or Manor of Ravens recently? I'm looking for information whether or not they have all the latest errata (1.6 as of writing this) applied to them or not.

I am planning to buy new copies of the base game and these expansions to replace my old un-errata'd and worn copies. I emailed FFG's customer service about this a while ago but they haven't gotten back to me yet, figured maybe the forums have the answers.

I would also like to know if Shadow od Nerekhall got better minis quality than first print had... That is main reason why I still don't have this box.

hmm, I would just use sticky note's or rewrite your rulebooks/questguides. I did with pen:p

Also, if you want to buy new copies because they are more up to date with the rules, you can better print Zaltyre's glossary of terms. The errata cover only limited rules clarification.

If they are completely worn out, it might be worth trying to email FFG if they can send you a new one, provided you have the proof of purchase. Or just download it.

There is some errata that has obvious gameplay alterations; like the elemental's air ability not rendering them nigh-invincible or Thaiden's hero ability being increased by 1 square or some overlord cards drawing a static 2 cards instead of 1 per hero. Currently we have the errata sheet printed up and we consult it before each game, but it'd be a nice quality of life improvement to not have to do that.

Going over the rulebook and cards with a marker or stickers just feels wrong to be honest, lol. I like to keep things pristine if possible, although I imagine I will resort to it at some point if I don't have the option to buy updated copies!

Just to post a quick update; I ended up buying sleeves for all my descent cards (Which ended up costing more than the base game of descent as around 1100 cards were involved!) and then putting small stickers on the sleeved cards that have received errata. Will still have to refer to the errata, but at least I didn't have to fork out money for duplicate expansions or deface the cards!

FFG's customer support also got back to me and said they don't sell or replace components that weren't explicitly missing from a new product. They also strangely enough didn't comment on which expansions had received the latest errata in their latest print runs though, which is strange, but I suppose I don't need it answered anymore anyhow.

I bought Nerekhall despite the subpar heroes mini quality (mind that imo monsters aren't affected by this) and I can only say that I don't regret it at all. As much as I can tell, my biggest problem with the hero's minis are grounded in the sculp (clothes just aren't sculpted very well, proportions are a little strange) and I think they won't change the sculp hence I don't think subsequent print-runs will come with better looking hero-minis.

Yet I started to paint them and imo you can correct a lot of the problems (especially the face) with a good paint job. Also the "zombi-face" of Orkell is directed towards the ground, so you will only recognise it when picking up the miniature and looking at it in a special perspective.

So, yes, it took more time to paint the Nerekhall heroes and it was a bit harder, but the end-result is nearly indistinguishable from the other heroes during a game.

Well, for me its a total deal killer- I don't want to pay full price for something that is out of any quality standards- even most sh*tty in the wargaming Mantic miniatures has better quality and they come in 20-25 of them in one box for less than 10$. I have whole time in world left to get it, if the new print has no changes in minis, I will search for 2hand box. As far as I know, same issue was with first H&M pack, the Outh of the outcast and that are only two expansion to suffer from that case, but to be fair- LoW, Trollfens, LoR minis quality was better than base game one(both monsters and heroes) and even way better in other expansions. New lieutenants figures are awesome in sculpts and details.

But I don't accept this kinda "recovered from acid bath" heroes.... There is a lot to like, from the board tiles, cards, and quest side of course, but I have a lot of fun in painting that stuff also, and this-it just kills it.
