Nice one, and I'm not a huge fan of podcasts in general. As a father introducing the game to my sons, the theme was on point. The two oldest being 6 and 4, they're not about to win tournaments yet (to be fair, neither am I), but the oldest has been tagging along as long as I've played and we came 5 out of 8 in a Team Epic.

But, hey, we won Open Series range rulers, so we must not be that bad (at photography) They are way more transparent than they usually look like in pictures.

Super episode, nice break from the usual format. I believe I suggested interviewing Nate back after your first couple of episodes. Well done scoring him and his Dad!

Kudos to you for your patience with the youngster as he develops his interview skills. Testify Nate!

The secrets to Nate's success seem to boil down to:

1. Having a natural ability to judge maneuvers (1/4 of the game or more right there)

2. Lots of practice (naturally as a kid would have more time, he's said this before and it's true)

3. Strong support system (dad, mom, fellow adult gamers)

He also suggested that people fly against a variety of lists so that they are not thrown off when the meta shifts after a new wave releases.

I think his dads best comment was regarding Nate's need to learn from his greatest disappointments, how to treat others.

To Nathan: congratulations on your success! Keep flying, stay humble, and I'm rooting for you at Nationals in 2016!
