Why not give the rebels a Nebulon B?

that would be absolutely massive in xwing. Lengthwise i dont think its much bigger but its significantly taller/wider in some spots.

You'd have to have poles holding it up twice what we got now lol which are just begging to give people grief about staying on the **** base.

So true. I'm actually looking at reinforcing the base of mine to try and bypass this problem.

Honestly, take a small file to the flat sides of the connection point on the base. Just grind a slight bit out.

I did that for my Ghost and it doesnt fly off the base anymore. I noticed it was feeling like it wasnt going in at all, so i made the gap bigger. My Huge ships dont seem to have this problem though (thank god). I actually got a comment from someone saying its the first time he's seen a ghost in play and it didnt fall off the base lol.

Does not apply to the frigate I'm afraid, it has different points. I've actually had no problems with my Ghost though.

Oh so will I... I had a poorly scaled Gozanti (rebel style) too. Just. I can't bare to field it within 1 continent of the actual Gozantis.

Last I used it was the "base" for playtesting Babaganoosh' gamma base.

I prefer the CR90 carrier refit myself.

I've been hoping for deploy/docking rules for the CR90 since a Rebels Facebook page posted an errant comment about it, captioning an image of the Command ship from the TV show. Later, the page corrected the post. Then I saw the first episode that depicted the Awings deploying.

I would sure like to protect my fragile green squadron for a few rounds during an Epic match.

*If you need a logical reason why Awings need to be docked sometimes: pilots need to pee, poop, eat and sleep. Also... refueling, maintenance and Chardaan Refits need to be done somewhere.

You know... if they release this there are a few things they could do to make people jump for joy, including me. Have the doors open and a fully detailed interior complete with ships. Also have the paint job as good as the original Falcon.

that's the top of the A-wing, not the bottom,

(look at the angle of the docked A-wing's fins)

and you can clearly see a ladder up the tube.

When just transporting (another option I assume) then it doesn't matter

and the cockpit then can face out, but otherwise facing in.

I dunno, to me the asymmetry makes it more StarWars-y and beautiful.

It was also an ad-hoc Imperial ship stolen by the Reb's sent on a ........ well look for the kit on Ebay . Still have mine.

I loved the Far Star/Darkstryder WEG d6 rpg campaign, I still have all of the books and the poster sized deck plans, and want to run the campaign again so much.

Oh and I remember seeing someone made Far Star model for Xwing, saw a ton of pictures in a thread on heere about a year or less back. And it was alson on the same person's blog.

It's probably designed for refueling the starfighter (as those are all hyperspace capable).

I have an old model kit to make NASA spaceships that make the pieces with using molds and a poured plaster/plastic. Have had half a thought to make a hack job conversion of my CR90 into the FarStar. Might glue an old micro machine x-wing or a-wing on the flight deck for looks as the scale of the CR90 would not let you put any T65 models on the flight deck. I would use 3 pegs for the docking tubes so you could 'hang' a actual models on the outside.

Found the blog with the custom FarStar. Far beyond my talent.

Might as well use a Pelta, then, with its built in little A-Wing hangar. I'd be more apt to buy one of those than a Neb.... oh, who am I kidding, I want BOTH.

The problem with those cards, Flashback, is that we've also seen the Ghost docking with a CR-90, so really, anything should be able to.
