Anyone know if there are plans for other races besides goblins and dwarves? I like the creatures, but I was really hoping another playable race at some point.

Oh and I'm trying to decide between Battle Lore and Memoir 44. I like fantasy more than WW2, but Memoir has guns!

Not sure if guns will make their way into the game soon, but additional races should before too long. I'll try to hunt up a link to their mention.

Races wise, as Toddrew said, Richard Borg has been playing with lots for many years in his local group so fingers crossed there might be some race release this year .

Gun wise, well during the hundred years war* gunpowder really started coming into its own. Initially as a replacement to siege equipment then into field warfare (there are some fantastic pictures of blokes in armour 'firing a spear from a metal vase filled with black powder' all the way through to the beginings of fire arms we know and love so there could in theory be space for an expansion that has limited guns in it.

And in the mean time if you're prepared to suck up homebrew stuff (untested homebrew stuff to boot) then follow the link in my sig for lots of races and a dash of black powder.
