2 uboats and a kihraxz

Ok folks new attempt at this scum list. My u-boats remains as follows.

2 x scouts with extra munitions + plasma torps + over clocked r-4 + feedback array + deadeye + chips.

New ship is: Talonbane cobra + outmaneuver for 99 points.

Any tips and improvements or anything would be great thanks.

OK forgot to add inertial dampeners for 1 point to Talonbane for a 100 point list.

Talonbane needs extra manouvre options. Either engine upgrade or if you like to risk things try illicit cloak and Stygium particle accelerator, this allows extra defence and the decloak action can provide a positional jump to get him into range 1 with added bonus of evade token. Of course the cloak can fail on first use but still that 1 time can be useful if you get to throw 5 attack dice

Agreed, Talonbane needs an engine upgrade to take advantage of his PS9 and ability (the odds of using his ability for defense drops when secondary weapons are just around the corner). Otherwise, Graz the Hunter is a better alternative.

I think Graz is a strange one. His ability focuses on defence which is not something the Kihraxz excels in. It's a hard hitter but expendable. Either stick cheap with 20pt cartel marauder or go all in to capitalise on talonbanes ability. Sadly secondary weapons are everywhere now. If not U boats it's TLT spam or now with defenders it's going to be cannons. If his ability also worked defensively with secondary weapons he'd be a true ace. But at present he doesn't really represent value for points. He does. Of course pose a threat that often your opponent will want to focus on first.

I could see the use of having him being what the opponent would focus on while the u-boats try and do what they do. But with that being said i would rather have a third ship that could offer some offensive help. that was why i was thinking Talonbane could be a better option, though if other ships could do the job as well or better i am open to this.
