So... Amazon says that Ascension will be released on Monday. Is this legit?
Edit: Hopefully, fixing my poor typing in the link.

Nope. Don't trust any non-FFG dates for their stuff. Plans change.
In fairness the only release date information I have seen from FFG indicated Q4 09
Also doesn't work when it says that the RH is supposed to be out a day or two after, when it's already out.
It'll be out SOON

Yeah, I think that's all we get for now. Though it's up on the products page so it's safe to assume that it's next (not counting Damned Cities).
Hope to see this soon after christmas.
Well, my guess is:
Two weeks after the News Sections was sporting a picture of two FFG staff memebers holding it up (with a warehouse full of boxes in the background).
Heh well... Amazon just sent me an e-mail about Dark Heresy: Ascension (due to all the DH stuff I bought from em.
)
The release date? April 10th. So yeah... not any time soon. Cozy up to the Radical's Handbook if you haven't already.

Heh, and when I check today Amazon.ca seems to suggest April 13th
I think I've learned my lesson and will wait until there is more info on the front of FFG.

From my experience here, FFG release dates are pretty sketchy until after release. And if they don't know when stuff will be released, how can anyone else ?
I know you guys probably don't care, but online shops are legally required to put release dates on all items they presell. Being forced, by law to do this, means that most of them just have to guess. This also means that companies like FFG have to put out a general idea for a release schedule.
I have been a fan of Bungie Studios and when they put out the Myth series they released an article about the preorder system. They had similar issues because they rabidly refuse to put release dates on any of their products, and they had issues with people being mad at them for busting their seller's release dates.
I've come to be happier knowing that good products will be "done when they're done".

What I call fondly the Blizzard approach.
