how do YOU door? I use end caps.

I usually use the "middle" option. (Placing the door over the jigsaw, without an endcap.)

I get the aesthetics of putting an endcap there, but I feel like it would just be adding that much more wear and tear to the jigsaw bits to put an endcap on and then remove it again. Not to mention the risk of disturbing the board while removing it. I might feel differently if I had problems with the door falling over or something, but that's never been an issue.

Oh man how lazy do i feel now. We generally don't use the door. Game is on table directly under the tv so havent felt the need with rtl. Do with box game though. I like the end cap idea though

I usually don't post - read alot though. But this I had to be a part of.

We are lazy as well - and functional :) For RtL - why use doors? You have an open connector where you know there is an invisible door. Once you open it another part is built. So wherever there is an open connector there is a door. Less mess on the board, quicker setup :)

Forgot... and doors don't close in RtL so there is no need to have it left on the board once it's open.

But but but... it looks pretty... well I can't argue with laziness... *goes back to sleep* "ZZZzzzzzZzZzZzzzz..."

I have been using the end cap method to keep them level. Though it isn't much effort, I some reason don't like having to remove map pieces (end casp) during the game. This thread just gave my the idea to create a 3D printed door with a puzzle piece base that can sit in/on the tile. Better looking, will sit well and easy to remove.

This... is an amazing idea.

Or the lazy version.. glue the doors to endcaps.
