Looks like you still had some points left over. Maybe swarm tactics on howlie so another can shoot at ps8? Unless you think her shot is gonna need a crack too, but I'd be evading with her anyways to keep her alive. Maybe a shield upgrade instead of hull for crit protection on that first hit. Otherwise looks good and not too much else to do to it.
those 3 points are almost invariably better spent as an upgrade from black to omega
Drop the Hull upgrade and you effectively have 6 more points to play with. Spend one point to upgrade on BlackCrack to Youngster with Rage and 4 more to upgrade another to Epsilon Leader for stress mitigation.
You lose 2 crack shots but in return you still have 6 Tie who can throw 4 Dice at Range 1 and reroll up to 3 dice each with a free focus token. Epsilon Leader helps to mop up the stress.
note: don't do rage
first of all it's a downgrade, because you're losing crackshot and it's super redundant with howlrunner
second, it makes the list incredibly predictable even with E-leader (another lost crackshot) due to the single stress remaining
youngster is all around still pretty worthless. we're still waiting on a worthwhile ACTION: ept for him

A flanker or something 'acey' that can set up opposite corner and be independent

I would also say that Rage + Howlrunner synergise well as you will be guaranteed 3 attack dice (4 at range 1) to maximise the benefits of the rerolls from Rage. It gives you a near-alphastrike capability without the need to spend ordnance or guarantee target locks.
At Range 2-3 you get 18 attack dice with rerolls on all of them and a Focus token apiece. If you opponent is foolish enough to try and joust that, you can do a green 1 into Range 1 and repeat with 24 attack dice the next turn and the same modifiers.

if you're thinking of adding dice via expose, that's only worse. You get the same average damage just through focusing without screwing over your agility
Ah, perhaps.
Rage grants a focus and up to 3 rerolls. It's more like a focus and target lock rolled into one action with a huge stress downside. Makes an excellent alpha strike though. E leader to clear one stress and a green move and your back in business. At best probably used every other turn. More likely every third turn.
Youngster allows it to work on academy pilots. You would lose crack shot. But it's only slightly worse than PTL used to focus and target lock on the same turn. And much cheaper.
Hoelrunner is wasted if you do youngster and rage.
