Sorry for bothering if this question was mentioned before.

I need a clarification about a skill training. I want to know if Player can:

1) Train ONLY one skill among all per one rank

or

2) Train one skill only ONCE and than Player can train other skills, but no more than one time per each skill?

#2. They can train any of the skills on their career card, but no single skill can be trained more than once per rank.

How do people interpret Advanced Skills?

Do they max out at acquired on Rank 1? Or can they be trained to level 1 on rank 1?

In the errata I believe it said that you could acquire and train in the same rank. Acquiring a skill does not count as training in that skill.

From the FAQ

However, skills trained during character creation do count towards the limit of one rank of skill training per character rank. -p.1

Once an advanced skill has been acquired, the character now has the option to train the skill, as he would any of the basic skills available to him. Training the advanced skill would be the second step in the process, and costs one Skill Advance. -p.5

I don't think it explicitly states that you can. But if you consider acquiring and training as two separate concepts, then your logic follows.

As for the amount of career skills and specialities you can train each rank it's 1+the amount of skill ranks listed on you character sheet - so a Commoner can train 2 (1+1) and a dilletant 4 (1+3).
