I find this game fascinating and would love it if anyone could explain some of the math behind it.
Example: if you're rolling 6 dice and you need to get three separate and different results at the same time, how do you figure that? I know you have a 16% chance of rolling a single result, and if you roll 6 dice you multiply that by 6 which would equal 96%. But, if you have to get 2 different results, do you just cut that number in half equaling 48%? Then if you needed three different results would you divide 96% by 3, equaling 32%?
Following this same formula, if you miss on the first shot and now only have 5 dice it would be 26%, 4 dice would be 21%, 3 dice would be back down to 16%.
Did I get that right?
