What would people think of a month long OCTGN tournament in which you'd be assigned an opponent and then have one week to schedule and play a game? We used to do that for Anachronism and it worked quite well. I wouldn't mind organizing the pairings and keeping track of the standings if no one else wanted to do that.
OCTGN Tournament
I'd be down (down town to make the post longer and postable...sigh)
I guess I will have to download this
funny, dan was just asking me the other day about when a good time would be to try to get the community to do something like this we were thinking after martell was released in english, perhaps in january. if any of the games include the holidays (christmas, new years), might be best to give a week and a half. i'm in, though, so long as we do it with martell.
Count me in.
This will provide me with the motivation to actually configure my router so I can use OCTGN.
I'm in. Just consider my italian timezone :-) If there are some other european guys maybe the first matches can be done dividing people by timezone.
Count me in too. I'm on the West Coast, but I will wake up early or stay up really late...whatever it takes to get a few tournament games in!

If my Timezone is not an issue (GMT+1) I'm in too ![]()
As Erick mentioned, I'm definitely in. (I was even thinking of contributing prize support, but that's probably jumping the gun a bit.) After Martell is released seems like the perfect time to run one of these.
We were discussing this yesterday at the NY Winter Is Coming Melee tourney and it sounds like there is interest from a bunch of players. Has anyone created OCTGN card sets for the last King's Landing CP and Princes of the Sun?
I should have already updated King's Landing with the last CP. Check the thread of OCTG. Next WE should be available also Martell patch (censored version)
Count me In. (extra filler space here so that the forums will accept the post)...
I'd likely be game as well, although I expect the remainder of the month to be hectic so I probably wouldn't look to participate until after year end.
I'm in. New to the game. Only played the core set with one other person so far. You might have to walk me through some of it, but I'm excited to play. Love the game and love the books. email- [email protected]
I'd be down for this. Although I'm going to need ALOT of practice first. haha
I'm going to create pairings for this on the first of January, so if anyone else wants in, please add your name to this list before that date. I will just list the pairings on here, and you will have one week to schedule and play your game. My email is [email protected] so that you can let me know the results of your games, or in case you have any questions.
I'm definetly in. Waiting pairings to organize the game.
What do you think about creating a forum just to organize online games and tournaments? Should be easir find and organize our works.
Maybe some already excisting forum could host this feature. Should be great also give section also for local metas (Italian, French, Spanish, USA) so would be great organize overnational tournaments
ITALY vs Spain > the winner goes against USA vs Canada
and so on...
just an idea!
Sounds like fun I'm in. New to the forum. My Email : [email protected]
I'm in also. I'm going to be rusty.
[OT] I'm creating a forum to collect and unifies all of us that want to play OCTg to get easir organizing tournament, spot match ecc...
My aim is to create "International" section and local ones (country per country).
I'll start creating "North America" and Italian section just to make some tests.
All these sections can act parallely so, for example, italian player that don't speack english can find player to match with.
If the solution will work we can create any sub section for every country you ask about and one (or plus) person per country can administer it.
This could be a simplier way to organize all the work.
Let's see how it evolve.
Well this ship has sailed
.
But hopefully, you'll organize a tournament next month as well. I'd like to participate myself
I relaunch my proposal. To avoid multiple threads on FFG forum about AGOT tournaments or match, what do you think to have a place to use ONLY for OCTG. So people that want to play it just have to look in one place. I have already created a forum, but if you suggest other places will be welcome!!!
I would like to play. Where might I find the card set for OCTGN?
Thanks...found it a little earlier though. I started out by just building a basic coreset set stark deck. Would like to try it out over OCTGN to get use to the program. Anyone want to start a game?
