Need some help in Marietta tomorrow if I can get it.

By WuFame, in Star Wars: Armada

I hope this post isn't bad form or poor sportsmanship. I'm new to miniature games so I dunno what's cool and what's not yet.

So I've been having a crisis of Armada faith these last few weeks just struggling with what to bring to the regional tourneys I'm going to. Last week in NC I ran some bombers and AF2s which was an old flame of mine and I had fun but I'm just not feeling it this week.

Literally last night I played with a Mothma swarm and 2400s and I really loved how it played. I was on the edge of annihilation the entire game, but it was fun and I really want to fly it at regionals. Only problem is I only have 4 TRCs and need 5 (I used need loosely, let's be honest, I want 5 :D).

Can anyone going to Marietta loan me a TRC for the duration of the tournament. I mean, I'll literally buy another MC30 at the store if I absolutely have to, but I'd really love not to.

Wow, already got a follow up via PM. Thanks my friend.

You guys can use this thread now to call me a lowlife bottom-feeder if you want.

You are the worst ever. (Is that good?)

Absolute bottom feeder! :)

(Really looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow!)

I'm looking forward to this tournament but not looking forward to this drive. I had no idea there was a regional in Dallas this weekend. As a Dallas native who's been displaced to Raleigh, I would have totally flown in for the Dallas regional.

Isn't driving from Raleigh to Georgia kind of like driving from Dallas to the next town over though?

But in Texas you get the privilege of driving in Texas and here I have to drive in Georgia.

There's big differences.

Side note: When you are asking for help from Georgians, it's probably not a good idea to insult their state.

No worries, bottom-feeder, you'll have better luck in Georgia than in Dallas anyway.

How do I know?

I'll be in Dallas. ;)

Did you ****** defeat out of the jaws of victory and already lose your loaner TRC thanks to your Texan state superiority complex?

LOL. I'll agree that it's definitely a superiority complex. You know what they say about Texans.

If a man is from Texas, he'll tell you. If he's not, why embarrass him by asking. :D

I'd let you borrow one, but I'm using all 6 of mine on my CR90's tomorrow...

Wait, did I give too much away?

;)

Trust me, I play this guy at the very least once a week and shockingly, Texas does come up. Something about its inherent barrenness as far as the horizon apparently appeals to Mr. Fame.

Conversely, how can you tell you are at a party with a Texan? Don't worry HE or SHE will tell you. Fun fact "Texan" can be interchanged with "pilot," "actor," and "programmer." I'll leave you to connect the dots as to where the similarity in all four of those intersect.

Stand up slow clap for the community.

The weird/sad thing is, this isn't an inaccurate statement.
