Ally and Villain Pack Buyers Guide updated

By jacenat, in Star Wars: Imperial Assault

I wrote and published the Lando and Blaise reviews for the Wave 6 Ally and Villain packs on our Buyers Guide.

http://boardwars.eu/ally-and-villain-packs-for-star-wars-imperial-assault/

I added 2 things (one requested here I think):

1) each article now has a separate paragraph on how to include the specific figure(s) in your campaign

2) all image links now point to cards.boardwars.eu

These changes will be included in the old reviews as well, once I am done with Wave 6.

Have a look and of course critique and comments are welcome as always.

You missed the part on Lady Luck where you can use it for attacking.

Comment on an older one: for the bantha you stated that relocated can only be used on banthas and tusken raiders. It can also be used on wampas, which were available before the bantha was released.

Otherwise, great source of info! I wonder if there is a similar thing for agenda sets themselves? I'd love to see a comparison of the pros and cons of the different sets and what they synergize with?

I will change this today and maybe put online another article.

It's great to see people actually read what my brain babbles whole day :D

@Bantha article: True, I will add the Wampa. I really can't remember if this was intentional or an oversight.

@Agenda reviews: Too much work for me currently. The podcast, the articles and the online campaign swallow enough time as it is. If you are motivated to write content, I would not say no of course :)

This is a great resource; thanks!

Love your work man! A great tool that I will surely be using this when I get Bespin Gambit.

I've used your lists before when I first started IA and found it helpful in deciding what to buy early on. Love that you're continuing this, I have it bookmarked so when I get a little spare cash each month I can take a quick look at the really well rated packs and perhaps buy them! :D nice work!

Wave 6 is fully up now (since ... Saturday?).

Retrofitting the old articles over the course of the next month, probably be done by when wave 7 releases.

Thanks for the comments, this thing can only get better if you guys tell me what's missing :)

Grammar N*zi:

Maybe you could fix the "it's" to "its" when it's supposed to be possessive (mine, yours, his, hers, its) instead of contraction (it is, it was).

A lot of native speakers get it wrong. :D

Nice write ups! No mention of my favourite command card "Grenadier" in the Rebel Trooper pack though?

Yeah ... should spell check it a bit better. This is getting on the list of things to be done :D

Originally I didn't want to spoil all cards from the packs. Also back when I wrote the Rebel Troopers, 4x4 was still *the* thing and remained to be for quite a while :D

But this is also getting on the list of general improvements.
