I have been running Zuckuss with two U boats.
Adaptability
FCS
Outlaw Tech
Gotta keep him cheap, but it produces 4-5 hits per turn.

Counterpoint to the fact that Zuckuss is the only pilot being discussed in this thread: 4-Lom is a solid pilot as well. Look at the G1-A dial, and now picture all the red maneuvers as white. Pretty solid dial, right? With VI + ADV Sensors + Dengar + Title, you can pull this off with reasonable reliability. ADV Sensors action, perform red hard 1, bank 3 or a K-turn (with pre-barrel roll as needed to get into range 1), and then cut loose with your primary, all at PS8. Afterwards, pass the stress off to your target.
Also if necessary, you have the option to drag your target into R1 with tractor beam.
Lather, rinse, repeat.
How about Cloak, anybody uses that? I have a lot of fun with that on small scum ships.
Cloaking device with Stygium Particle Accelerator on a Mist Hunter can be truly annoying to your opponent. It allows more opportunities for blocking or better repositioning and the free evade adds a bit more survivability when decloaked.
Another good scum post, thanks for everyone sharing these ideas!
Also consider...
4-Lom
-Stay on Target
-Advanced Sensors
-Outlaw Tech
-Mist Hunter
Savage little always-focused knife fighter that can pass out stress and maintain a Target Lock or Evade as needed. Solid against The Boats if you can close quickly and good at herding Palp Aces around.
Zuckuss, Mist Hunter title, 4-LOM and Juke.
Manaroo, K4 Security Droid and Unhinged Astronech in support.
DON'T RUN THIS, but I've had a lot of fun with:
Zuckuss (28)
-Expose (4)
-Advanced Sensors (3)
-Experimental Interface (3)
-K4 Security Droid (3)
Serissu (20)
-Adaptability (0)
-"Heavy Scyk" Interceptor (2)
-Tractor Beam (1)
Latts Razzi (33)
-Weapons Engineer/K4 Security Droid (3)
For those unfamiliar with the order of operations:
a) Use Advanced Sensors before revealing the dial to perform a focus action.
b) Use Experimental Interface to activate Expose.
c) Execute a green maneuver, clear the stress from EI, and get a target lock from K4 Security Droid.
Now you have +1 die with TL+focus.
Serissu fires first, lowers target agility, and pulls the target into Zuckuss' arc (ideally range-1). Zuckuss fires, uses his ability to increase the target's agility, spends Latts' target lock to reduce agility again, and throws 5 dice (6 at range-1) with focus + Target Lock.
I faced Poe (r5-P9), Sabine, and Keyan Farlander. Poe, Zuckuss, and a heavily-damaged Latts were all that remained in the last few rounds. Zuckuss was able to one-shot that fully-recovered Poe to take the game!
I have run it in bigger 150 point games with Dengar crew and Predator just for laughs. Zuckuss has a very good chance chance for 5 hits at range 1.

Zucuss as PS9 Ace can be pretty good, other builds too fragile for current meta sadly
I'm going to try Ruthless Freelancer with Ehanced Scopes and Intel agent as a blocker.
I like Zuckuss to be nice and cheap. VI and Outlaw Tech make a nice PS fighter, or if you want to forgo the race take Predator instead of VI and shoot like the dickens.
I've had some success with just a basic Gand Findsman with FCS and Outlaw Tech. Clocking in at 27 points, it's a solid little fighter with some great action economy.
Outlaw Tech really shines on this ship. 4-LOM with FCS and Outlaw can essentially use outlaw as a poor man's Advanced Sensors - if you're going to bump, pick a red maneuver and you still get your focus and the nice thing is with all that red on the dial you can go in almost any direction. Neat.
I take mine on Dino Safaris.
I took Zuckuss with VI, Title + Tractor and Dengar crew as part of my list to Regionals yesterday and got completely owned by IGs and TLTs. His lack of manoeuvrability (even with barrel roll) combined with his B-Wing durability meant he was first to be eliminated each game.
Funnily enough my PS1 Z-95s were complete heroes. Blocks and Feedback Arrays got me far more points than I probably deserved.
Haven't flown one yet, but thinking of 4 of the cheap ones each with Feedback or FCS.
Gand Findsman being run in the last streamed round of Naboo right now with Crackshot, K4 Security Droid and Advanced Sensors. That's a pretty nifty build, wlll be interesting to see how it gets on against the Palp Aces.
I really should try the generics; 23 points gets you a lot of ship.
