Given the limited green on the B-wing dial, I would probably rather play it safe and go for PTL. Now if you put Kyle or Kanan in the crew-seat, that might shift the balance.
What are you Raging?

Edit: plus PTL only works if you barrel roll or take a defensive focus. There are times you really don't want to barrel roll, and Id rather have Jan's evade.

Glitterrage: somethings gonna die.
Haha now that's just excessive.
Although, if the upgrades in HotR work the way we think they will, a Falcon with rage, glitter, Jan Ors and C-3PO would be ridiculously fun.
Rey on Glittercrack...
Edited by XerandarWhat? No! Rey is a good kid, she knows better than to solve her problems with chems.
Dengar now, now that guy might like to get angry and pop a glit.

Not a super competetive list, but it's fun to drop that many tokens
Interesting, but until the TIE SF hits, it's a little problematic to get all those copies of Wired. That is if you were going to play in a tournament.
I tried something similar but leaning more towards academy pilots. It worked really well for me.
I was having quite a bit of fun with Tycho w/ Rage ____ and EI. I've tried pairing him with PTL, Daredevil, and... wait for it - expose! All to good results. Personally, I think I prefer Tycho with PTL EI and DD, but if pushed for points, Rage is a good replacement to a bunch of stuff.
But that expose combo was really interesting, and if it wasn't for me forcing myself to play something besides A wings, I probably would have brought it to regionals, especially with the lack of PWT these days, and the decrease of PS9+ pilots.
I love rage on both Tycho and Ezra.
I've been running Tycho with VI, rage, EI, prockets. PS 10 makes him a threat to aces and rage makes prockets one of the most powerful attacks in the game.
Ezra with rage and chopper is only 21 points! He makes a great docked attack shuttle because he's a little too suicidal to be on the table for long. But he's a vicious counter attack when the ghost is getting burned down.
Chewbacca with Chopper.
Maybe Ezra too.
Honestly, as someone who flies Imperials, I love it when someone fields Tycho with Rage. You're basically telling me that once you use Rage, you're never going to be able to K-Turn for the rest of the game. I'll just get in behind you and stay there for the rest of the game thank you very much.
Anyone try this? I've been toying with the idea for a while but haven't put it to table yet:
Keyan + Rage + Bwing/e2 + Jan Ors, 33 points.
Yep. I love it. I add Advanced Sensors, bringing his total up to 36.
1. Advanced Sensors: Rage; turn the focus token to an evade token (Jan Ors)
2. Reveal a green maneuver, shed a stress token
3. Attack, reroll dice as necessary, shed a stress to change focus results to hits.
4. Repeat as required.
Edited by stonestokesRage coupled with another ship equipped with Wingman can also work well.
The Latts Razzi crew coming with the Shadow Caster appears to allow you to spend stress for something while defending. Depending on what that is, it may make Rage popular on Scum ships with crew slots (4-Lom in particular).
Latts also doesn't seem to be limited to being used once per round either.
Edited by WWHSDRage coupled with another ship equipped with Wingman can also work well.
Mauler Mithel + Wingman
Youngster + Rage
4x Black Squadron Pilot + Wingman
You can clear up to 5 stress per round, even clearing 2 on the same ship.

*Daredevil intensifies*
How about 4-LOM? In combination with Advanced Sensors, you can clear one stress with a green maneuver, then pass the other one off to an enemy (hopefully). It's two points cheaper than Advanced Sensors + Push the Limit.
The thing is, I feel Rage really does wonders for ships that can shoot twice because the rerolls last for the rest of the round. Maybe a YV-666 with Rage, Gunner, and Tactician?

I faced a Ragin' Keyan. It had Hera instead of Jan. I'd like to try both of those myself, though.
issue i have with Rage is its pretty much a one-trick pony at a bit of a price.
Yeah it works multiple times but unless you either Baffles or utilize destress somehow you cant use it for 2 turns. Even the guys that WANT the stress wont be able to do it because its still an action. Chopper would let you but then you risk self-destruction lol.
Though i guess technically if someone was hugging the Rager's butt with Wingman it would be used every turn, long as he did a green move to remove 1 stress first.

To be fair Tycho has always been a soiled up Awing without a K-turn

Once I put Tycho on the table, I'm basically telling you that I am not going to K-Turn the rest of the game.
i faced a Tycho with rage/ptl that deliberately waited to start stressing himself until after he Kturned.
Was slightly risky since he was doing a headon attack against a decimator, which he might not clear or get hit by w/o the double tokens, but he pulled it off and just stayed behind my decimator all **** game. Focus/evade from rage/ptl made him really **** hard to hurt even at range1 and he somehow managed to never bump my slowass ship and only lost arc once or twice.
That was annoying lol. It didnt work to the extent he was hoping since i FINALLY nailed the finkrat after he did 10 damage to me lol so i was still alive but boy was i hurt.
I think Rage is a sleeper hit, and actually boost 3 dice mini-swarm jousters, to give them "mini"- alpha-strike capabilites.
Consider the following 4 Kihraxz build: Black Sun Ace (23pt)
Rage (1pt) Black Sun Ace (23pt)
Rage (1pt) Black Sun Ace (23pt)
Rage (1pt) Black Sun Ace (23pt)
Rage (1pt)
96pt total.
All ships are PS5 and fires before BBBBZ, Thug Life, 3 Uboats etc. Get in range 1-2 and arc with all four Kihraxz's, and tage Rage as actio, (assuming range 2) that is 4*3 attack dice with full modifiers (reroll and focus) that should deliver 10-12 hits (on attack dice). In comparison a 3 Uboat attack firing 3 proton torpedos delivers a (guaranteed) 12 hits (on attack dice). Not too bad in my book.
Downside is the double stress for sure, but the Kihraxz actually have a ok dial, and the point is to use the following round taking green manouvers and bump until you clear the stress. Then you can repeat (with the Kihraxzs you have left
).
FYI I am hoping the Vector Thrusters upgrade adds a barrel roll for 1pt. This Kihraxz list would love it

Unfortunately, there are no generic T-65 or T-70 x-wing pilot having the elite-pilot talent and R2-D6 is unique.
Better way to do this is attini mindlink. Can use it every turn so it's more consistent, and they can all perform k turns on the same turn leaving them with more positioning options per turn. Costs the same too.

How could they all K-turn on the same turn with Attanni Mindlink? After the first one K-turns, the others will receive a stress and then they can't execute their red maneuvers and the opponent gets to move them as he/she pleases.

Is that different from any of the imp aces that are married to PtL? No.
As an avid rage Tycho player, I've never once had that experience. If someone gets behind me, they still have to guess which way I'm going and since I always run him at PS 10, the vast majority of aces struggle to keep him in arc even if they do guess correctly.
Anyone tried 5 x GSP with Wingman and Rage?
Basically green arrow but with 1 extra GSP.
