With wave IX reveal we got a glimps of quickdraw, one of the new TIE S/F and bunch of people keep thinking about using baffle on him to get his attacks off pre-combat phase. Just messing about on a squad builder site I came up with, what I feel like, is a very hard hitting list but has the draw back of killing itself to do so, thus the name Suicide black. Now we don't know the dial of the Tie S/F yet so aside from that here is the list.
Patrol Leader + Darth Vader + Fleet Officer (46 pts)
Quickdraw + PTL + Elec. Baffle + weapons Guidance + Special Ops training (35 pts)
Youngster + expose (19)
This is far from a competitive list but it is built with the gimmick of doing heavy damage at the sake of one's own health hoping to outpace the damage received with damage inflicted.
Quickdraw Gimmick Explanation: Assuming that quickdraw can use youngster's ability (since TIE/FO can use it) quickdraw's action is as follows. Focus, expose (ptl), stress(baffle), fires. At range 2-3 this is a 4 dice attack (if using title for the extra dice) followed up by another 4 dice attack at PS 9, with two focus (tanks to fleet officer from patrol leader) and weapons guidance he can do, on average, 6 hits. At range 1 this is two 5-dice attacks.
Followed up with standered patrol leader + vader and a shot from youngster, who depending on the situation will either focus or evade to try to live longer, or even expose and have a focus from patrol leader to be a more temping target than quickdraw for an easier firstblood.
In short, abandon all green dice full power to red.
Edit: Could also drop weapons guidance for a 2 pt in bid.
