What if there was a wave 9 errata that you can't fire ordnance at an obstructed target?
That or some sort of upgrade or pilot ability that gives additional benefits for obstruction.
For one point they're ok, but for one more you can get ion projectors or anti-persuit lasers both of which work better with Oicunn, my large ship d'jour.
Well if the ship is cheap enough and has a decent enough dial where you don't need EU you could fly with 3 large ships with tactical jammers.

If it's expected to hit the shelves in 7 months it is probably too late to change their minds.
I can almost see the value of Tactical Jammer in an Epic game. You could use an OGP or Patrol Leader as a meat shield for a Huge ship. Unless they errata'd that combo and nerfed it into uselessness.
Honestly? Including a copy of countermeasures bugs me more than the tactical jammer.

Ok, ok. Still don't know why you'd ever need two. But it doesn't sound bad on tanky Sabine (rec spec, 2xglitterstim). Get her at range 1-2, pop glitterstim on the turns you need to switch your mobile arc. Position everyone else behind her. You want the opponent shooting at Sabine, so forcing them to take a minor penalty shooting at anyone else makes some sort of sense... Right guys?

OH! This just clicked in my brain! TWO Tactical Jammers. TWO black sun slicers. Maybe the Black Sun Slicers have a reverse biggs ability where you choose an enemy ship at range 1, and if you roll a hit or crit you cannot be attacked by that ship this round, if another friendly ship can be attacked instead, ensuring tactical jammer kicks in? Hence, they give you two!
Sounds like a scummy move.
Tactical Jammer is a good card on lower ps large ships used for blocking or help biggs live a little longer
This card also helped me win a tournament
But i must admit i dont known if i will need 3 of them
Maybe 3 cows with TJ and a ace could give someone a bad day
