that is something i would like....
Tail Gunner on Firespray?
what if it created an aux arc on ships that didn't have them? that' be sweet on a Lambda Shuttle.
It would have to have some way of showing that included in the box, which they haven't included.
Making it a one-off out of arc shot like Hot Shot BLaster would be interesting, perhaps.
It could also work on a Shadow Caster, as it has Aux arcs. Of course, we have no idea what it does...
I dont think the reduced agility is what it is. Reason being, unless that has a heavy situational requirement its cheaper than Outmaneuver, same effect, and vastly easier to pull off. Outmaneuver is 3pts and requires you to have arc AND not them not have arc. Tailgunner, if its the reduced agi, wont work out the front but it will work if someone is tailing you and thats pretty **** mean on a sluggish ship.
Nevermind that you can doubledip with outmaneuver since that procs out the rear arc lol. Fly past someone, shoot them at range1 with rear arc for 3die and the title ability, suffer -2 agi. No flippin way thats happening lol
Edited by Vineheart01You have looked at the picture? Well, no, you haven't or you'd know it costs 2.I'm guessing 5p and get extra primary weapon attack out of auxiliary arc!
I think it will be something with changing the defender's die results.

If it is a buff to aux arcs, YV-666 will be the biggest beneficiary, as it has two and plenty of crew slots.
MWAAHAHAHAHA
Hope you're right, Teh Bus of Satanic Doom needs moar fun!
the yv is literally the reason why it's limited
either him or the ghost
If it is specifically Auxiliary Arcs, then it wouldn't work with the Ghost.
Perhaps the tail gunner allows for some ordnance to be fired outside the primary arc?
Great comment, very nice of you bringing up the point that the card is two points. Now, what do you think the card may be?

Check post 8. And post 20. Or the times those posts were quoted.
Then you'll see what I wrote.

My guess is it alters the defender's dice results when attacking in your aux arc. An Autothruster killer?
the final thing is either [Mini]mum or t[urn]
When attacking outside of your
Primary firing
Arc you may reduce defender's
Agility by 1 to a minimum
Of 0
Not quite there yet, but it sounds plausible.
You are on to it! The text is centered, and all the same font size, and the last words in each line are pretty much even. So something close to:
When attacking with your
primary weapon in your auxillary firing
arc, reduce the defender's
Agility by 1 (to a minimum
of 0)
The second line is the one stumping me.
My initial guess is shooting from an aux arc lets you add an eyeball result. Fitting with that theme from this wave and good but not super op for 2 points.
That would be ridiculous for 2 points on Scum Kath. As long as you've got a focus token adding a focus result is better than adding an extra die to the pool (Omega Leader, Dark Curse, Carnor, and Palob change that up a bit though).

Combo with Outmaneuver for some serious Firespray murder!

Make no mistake, the YV-666 is going to get better and better as time goes on. Crew is one of the most valuable slots in the game, and the YV has them in triplicate.
The party bus is coming on strong.
The Decimator has 3 crew slots too...

But a turret, not an aux arc.

And imperial crew (other than Palpatine) are not nearly as good as scum crew. They've got a few good ones but almost all of scum crew are really, really good.

It doesn't have 29 point generics, hard stops, and Double Hard Stop Illicit Parking Lot Mayhem Extreme Mode.
Though support crew with Veterans could make them crawl back a ways, as will anything that reduces the chances of them getting crushed under crit barrages from U Boats.
As for the actual topic, I agree the agility ability looks the most likely, but as mentioned that Outmaneuver combo could get dangerous fast.

Yeah, we have very little crew options, and Emperor aside, they aren't all that great.

Good, it rewards good flying, and leads away from standard plonking PtL on stuff.

Corrected.
If this was addressed somewhere in the dozens of pages of Wave 9 discussion, please disregard.
The Tail Gunner card in the upcoming ARC-170 only states "Limited". It doesn't say "ARC-170 only" or "small ship only" or any other limitation. I would guess it's a Crew upgrade.
My flat out guess would be that this card enables ships with an aux arc to make an improved or a second attack out the aux arc. Or perhaps to avoid overlap with the titles for the ARC-170 and TIE/sf, maybe it enables secondary weapon attacks out the aux arc.
I'd be pretty happy to see the Firespray get some love.
You know, now that you mention it... I think you might be right. And that would be awesome!
