I swear I saw one somewhere, detailing how much you would get payed for assorted smuggling jobs, but I couldn't find it in Fly Casual. Was there ever one in published material?

It is in Fly Casual starting on page 72. There's greater detail but boils to a formula of the base cost of a given item, modified by a percentage based on rarity and restrictedness, and finally modified by a percentage derived by the results of a Negotiation roll.

I was sure there was another table like in other career books, job descriptions and a scale of pay... :/

In Dangerous Covenants there is a table listing payouts for different jobs for the Hired Gun specializations. Page 91
