Cool Take on Dial Holders and Pilot Token Holders
Hmmmm those look pretty useful! I like having all the dials and pilot tokens next to the ships in my Plano boxes but this is definitely a nice alternative. Thanks for sharing.
Looking at their site I saw the grip inserts for the ship bases as well, and I'm in love. Anyone have any experience with those?
Edited by Dosierejust saw them on facebook and wanted to post it here .....

The grip inserts are becoming quite popular and have good reviews from people I know personally. I've just ordered some.
Does't seem like an efficient way to hold them. I have so many...I'd need a whole binder full!

Seems like a nice problem to have. I think I have around 20 so far.
Only been playing about two months though...
It will only show me prices in Kronas. It looks like all the pages are about $8 USD per pack.
Dial pack holds 40 dials (2 pages)
Small base pack holds 100 bases (5 pages)
Large base pack holds 30 bases (5 pages)
I wonder what shipping these things to the US will cost.
Yikes. That's steep shipping. It doesn't look like it changes based on quantity though (I checked with 12 of each, costs as much as a single item). Might see if anyone local wants to go in on them with me.

I like this idea, though. Get a 3-5" binder, fill it with all pilot and upgrade cards, dials, and base squares. Then, all that remains is ships, bases with pegs, and tokens, which can fit in your container of choice. That would reduce the storage compartments to two containers and increase organization and retrieval speed.
Edited by ArttemisHrm. Wonder if they'll offer a half-thickness version of the dial holders for those of us that picked up the dial upgrade kits, and now only need the "back" of them?

Maybe something like this would be better? Not sure about measurements and such...
So wouldn't the dial backs fit in the pages for the pilot bases? I'm to lazy to check if they have the same width but if they do, you could use those...
I use coin pocket pages, and these seem much better but that 27 for shipping is kinda steep.

The dials are slightly larger than the small bases but it looks like there is enough extra room in the pockets for them to fit.
neat idea but as others pointed out, too many. I use a large ziplock bag to hold my dials and its pretty full-ish (still got plenty of room but its getting there). The templates are just too thick to store that way so i think even just 1 factions' worth of base templates with no repeat expansion purchases would take a whole binder lol.
I keep my TIE Fighters separate since theres so **** many of them, but i also just keep those guys in a ziplock.
Edited by Vineheart01Looking at those just makes me think about coin holder pages. The type of things you may store collectable coins in.

That's what they are apparently...Looking at those just makes me think about coin holder pages. The type of things you may store collectable coins in.
Well, not those , specifically. X-Wing dials are about 44mm across.

OK... These then...

Yep. I was set to order those base inserts and the shipping stopped me cold. I'm not paying $27 shipping on a $10 item.
I use washers with my dials so they don't rub. I wonder if mine would even fit?

It is a nice problem, I admit, but it's starting to get cumbersome to carry it all. My upgrade cards are just silly at this point. I'm thinking of just printing off my lists and using the paper instead of actually pulling out the cards. Non-tournament, of course. Or perhaps just using pilot cards? I don't know.

Yes, just the dials, pilot cards and upgrade card are beginning to take up quite a bit of room. I don't sleeve my cards because that would make storage even worse. I even yanked all of my S&V dials and tossed them into a bag to clear room for more Imperial and Rebellion dials.
I've got 3 of those tournament prize boxes that I use for upgrade cards, but it's starting to get tight. I've got one for all my Imperial pilots. That's almost full. I've got one for all my upgrade cards and already I've had to put all my Crew cards somewhere else to fit everything in. My Rebel and Scum are in the last box and they are least threatened, but the Crew has gone in there so it's getting tight.
There are those binders, but I worry that I would need so many. How much would it cost to get all the dang pages and binders? I also have sleeves on all my cards, so will that cause issues? If I am already having problems carrying all my stuff, where will I put a bunch of binders now?

You obviously need to build an x-wing storage shed.
