Just a thought that I was pondering on my commute whilst listening to the excellent Shuttle Tydirium podcast. We don't see the freighter in Episode 7, but Han and Chewie are on a ship with a cargo hold big enough to house the Falcon, several large Chaos-Spawny beasties, and presumably the two bounty hunter gangs' vessels. That sounds like a ship worthy to be an Epic Scum vessel.
I am assuming it at least has a tractor beam - to have snared the Falcon.

Epic Scum, now ther's a topic we haven't seen in a while. There are usually two main camps: team Star Jewel / Jabba (whom we do not like, boo, hiss), and team Action Transport / Talon Karrde (thunderous applause, such brilliance and daring, yay and jubilations).
With some minor variations as to the second ship, my preference there would be a simple conevrsion kit for the GR75, there is a fanmade one here somewhere.
The Eravana (han's freighter from TFA) is way too big to be an Epic ship, it's going on for too big to feature even in Armada. It would be about the size of an Epic playmat at x-wing scale IIRC.
Star Jewel and Wild Karrde are definitely the two most commonly suggested Scum epics, and it's usually suggested that a fix for one of the 3 scum ships in need of it would be packed into it, Raider-stle. IMO, it's most likely that we'll see the Star Jewel as Jabba is just crying out for a 3-slot crew card, and it would fit the Scyk in as its support ship with Scyk fixes, leaving StarViper and Kihraxz for a Scum Veterans boxed set.

i wouldnt be surprised if scum either get a Gozanti-type ship or some older vessel thats been refitted and rearmed, so it may look old but it still packs a punch.

Why not both? I do like the idea of a 3-crew slot Jabba, Salalcious B. Crumb crew, young scum Han pilot, a scum Z-95 title (cheaper illicit upgrades?), aaaaand an opportunity for some Scyk buffs. It's a total package! But your Karrde thing is probably cool too!
The Star Jewel and Action Transport both occupy the same size slot, and probably role as well. Epic is divided currently in a gunship and a support vessel.
Z upgrades can come in both packs, with the AC allowing for a Mara Jade pilot, instead of a third Han.
There are also some Azzameens to be added and the ship itself is canon.
The Star Jewel is pretty obscure (of course I would say that, I prefer the Wild Karrde).

As usual, I'm in the Star Jewel camp. That one MUST become an epic ship.
For the second ship, I'm really torn between the C-ROC and the Wild Karrde. Character-wise, the Wild Karrde would be very cool because a) I loved the Thrawn trilogy, and b) it gives Scum some more "good guy" Scum characters, accentuating the fact that this faction is morally grey, not all evil. But after seeing the C-ROC on Rebels, it really captured my imagination.
Now, I'm not saying that Jabba is the only reason I want the Star Jewel, but if Jabba ever shows up on a C-ROC in Rebels, I think I could be content with a C-ROC instead of a Minstrel-class yacht ( Star Jewel ) and have the Wild Karrde Action VI Transport as the second. But I'd really much prefer to see the Star Jewel over anything else.

Hm...upon further research, the Marauder -class is 195m long, which is considerably longer than the CR90, and much wider for its length, too. So, I guess I'll throw my support behind the Wild Karrde !

What's disappointing about this is that I think it actually looks like a large freighter would look in the Star Wars universe - would love to see a cut-down version as an Epic scum ship, but I guess the C-Roc, Wilde Karrde or similar is far more likely
I've really got nothing useful to add, but I'm sad to see this thread leave the first page. I'm so excited when other people are excited about a Scum epic ship. I'm hoping so hard for a Scum epic ship announcement at GenCon.

Sorry if I poured vinegar over open wounds. I'm new to the Epic debate. Am still gutted there isn't a Scum Han Solo Falcon - it did the Kessel Run in 14 parsecs, so a Falcon with a SLAM action might have been an idea. Maybe a PS 8 Han, representing a less experienced pilot in a newer, more capable ship...
Reminder, Action IV comes with a convenient carrying handle.
Wilde Karrde for me. Partly because I use an Action VI Bulk Transport in my RPG group. Partly because I really like Karrde's group (so many pilots), and would like to see a Mara Jade in Scum, even if she will never marry Luke and have the only kid that should have been named Ben. Also, partly, because we need a ship big enough for some Vornskr to run around in. Oh, and Hair Envy!
not sure if i would consider Han a scum pilot, even before he got officially involved with the rebels. Yeah he was a smuggler but that was just his job.
Though i am surprised scum dont have a falcon pilot at all. Probably get the same **** treatment scum firespray did: the scum version vastly VASTLY outperforms the original.

By the time of ANH, the Falcon was over a hundred years old, and already an unholy mess of at least three droid brains and gods know what else...
