I was re-reading the "It's a Trap!" article and noticed that the grav well token doesnt say anything about being removed from play after deployment, so I would guess it stays in play; the Hyperspace Assault mission card reads that you "can deploy the ship and squadrons,". Therefore, the ship you deploy using the Hyperspace Assault mission rules would be automatically set to speed 0 if it is within 1-3 range of the token. Is that correct?

Makes fleet ambush a hard choice too, lots of people liked being closer to their opponent. Now, maybe not so much.

Yes.
Oh man, Fleet Ambush with an Interdictor will get interesting. It sort of eliminates that worry of putting a bunch of B-Wings in strike range, because now your opponent would have to choose between activating the B-Wings or using a Nav to get to speed one, and be able to use defense tokens.
