The Ghost has red 1 turns, I'd say it is possible.
ARC-170 too strong?
so does the B and shuttle
but both Xs, the E, the z, the Y, the K and the hwk etc. do not
not to mention the article stressed greens at low speeds and reds at highs, making the inclusion even more unlikely

Yeah, but the article does say it flies well at low speeds.

Well, it was focusing on the reds and greens, that doesn't mean it listed everything.
I'm inclined to agree that any more manoeuvres are unlikely, but I wouldn't be surprised if we're wrong, that's all I'm saying.
I am hoping for white or even green hard turns on 1 and 2's, 3 and up I expect will be red
There is no way this cow is having a 1 white/green hard turn.
See, we, shall...
There is no way this cow is having a 1 white/green hard turn.
if it did, though, oh man oh man
don't think I'd fly any list without a PTL bb-8 norra
sadly, I have the feeling a white/green 1-turn is about as likely as me rolling naked evades on any number of dice
Edited by ficklegreendiceHmm. Those people saying the ship's implementation seems a little underwhelming - what if we were wrong about the greens at s1 and 2, and it's actually something like
1: green turns, green banks
2: white turns, green banks, white forward
?
I don't think it's likely, but would it change your opinion from underwhelming to decent, or would it be overpowered?

the perception of an underwhelming implementation is strictly a product of statline for what we can make of the point costs coupled with incredibly underwhelming/situational pilot abilities of the two revealed pilots
the dial is actually promising even if it is just banks and forwards green. 6 green maneuvers for a ship of this stature is unprecedented and welcome

I think that having the rear arc reduces the need to have green turns, even if you are taking PTL. Wexley is essentially throwing 4 dice modified with a focus out the front arc if she has a TL and a focus, that's not too shabby.

It'd still be very handy though. If you've got somebody behind you I'm struggling to think of a better way of keeping them in your rear arc than a hard 1 turn.
2 die primary means the rear arc will just be a nifty bonus more than a real thing unless you're up against low agi (forcing crits through with title could really sting)
Only Norra, properly enabled ofc, packs a decent punch out that arc (title + ability)
But r3-a2 changes everything by not caring if you make it past greens or not
Edited by ficklegreendice2 Primary with a built in mini-focus, but yes, you're right that it'll be useless against high agility ships. We really need to know what Tail Gunner does though.
...or you get some crap like age of sigmar
You kind of tanked your argument right there.
You can use BB-8 and Kyle Katarn with PtL for some action shenanigans. BB-8 barrel roll, PTL for an action, clear stress for free focus, then action.
That's the idea I had!

Perhaps you see it that way but the vast, vast, VAST majority of people understand AoS to be the awful joke of a poor attempt to disguise a half-assed terrible game.
I'm glad you enjoy it, but (not that) objectively speaking, it's a poorly conceived, poorly designed, poorly executed, and poorly implemented "game."
It's like GW started making a game, got sleepy, and decided to just publish what they had rather than finish it. And given that their philosophy is that good models and well designed games are mutually exclusive, that is probably closer to the development of AoS than I realize.
It's bad.

Rampant memery from BoLS' comments section aside, where's your proof of this?
You need proof that AoS sucks?
How about every 40k or fantasy based forum hating on it?
Or every FLGS commentating on how hilarious the sales are for it?
How the two major fantasy tournaments banded together to make a "corrected edition" for Fantasy to say to hell with AoS?
Or for that matter how about the guy behind it on GW's side got sacked because of it? (ok admittedly that one is a rumor i have no proof of that one, but ironically GW has turned for the better...abit...since i heard that rumor)
AoS is an utter trashheap of a game. I'd rather play Warmahordes or Warzone Resurrection. Both lousy games for various reasons but theyre still somewhat fun to play. AoS isnt even "fun"
edit: **** it i still keep thinking Aeon of Strife when i say AoS lol...stupid Starcraft1 days...

I think Stressbot + Tactician is a decent replacement of the Stresshog. Add in a bit more of an offensive punch, I like it.
I have a friend who works for GW, he keeps mentioning things on Facebook like "had a very enjoyable game of Age of Sigmar today"; I really have to bite my tongue.
for a generic? r3-a2 gunner on the cheap, I'd guess?
a vast majority of stellar crew and astromechs are unique, though, so you can't really spam that many overpowered ARCs given what's available so far. Now the astromech they're coming with IS generic, so...
what's coming in the (far distant) future, though, is anyone's guess
r7 just by itself is quite solid, though. It just never had an efficient platform to really shine with, outside Tarn Mison. Obviously, E-wings with FCS would've rocked it, if FFG didn't rock them with stupid point costs first
Flechette Torpedo
Stressbot
Gunner
3 stress
My body is ready.

These regionals dice don't blank

Its not using generics, but how about this:
Ladies buy the shots (99 points)
Jan Ors + Dorsal Turret (28)
Norra Wexley + BB-8 + Advanced Proton Torpedoes + Push the Limit + Kyle Katarn + Alliance Overhaul + Guidance Chips (43)
Shara Bey + Alliance Overhaul (28)
Norra gets into range 1 with a target lock and double focus. Shara Also has a target lock. Norra spends her target lock to fire APT, Jan takes a stress to add one dice and hope you dont get more than 4 blanks. Spend Shara's TL to add an eyeball, APT flips three blanks to eyeballs, and Guidance chips does one more, then spend a focus to flip them all so you are practically guaranteed 7 hits and have a focus left over. Bit of a one trick pony but that will nearly erase any ship in one round.
