What's the best bit in new boxes?

By mazz0, in Star Wars: Imperial Assault

Places or peeps? I'm all about the places.

I'm happy to have it all, but I'm usually most excited to try out the new rebel campaign heros. It's fun to look through the class deck and to see what FFG did to give each one its own distinct play style.

Twin Shadows: Toss up. While I like the Tusken Raiders, nothing in this expansion really overwhelms me. If we include the associated A/V packs, definitely the peeps. Love Boba and the droids.

Return to Hoth: Places! I really dig the snow setting. Both the interior and exterior tiles are beautiful. However, I did love the Snowtroopers enough to snag and extra set of them on ebay for larger scale Hoth battles.

Bespin Gambit: Peeps! This one was harder as I really think FFG did an amazing job on bringing all of Could City to life and giving us iconic locations. Despite that, I'm really more impressed with the Wing Guards and Ugnaughts and how they will influence both campaign and skirmish.

I'm always for more missions and more rewards. Would love to see a completely new tileset.

Ah, I'm the opposite on the latter two - I love the locations in Bespin Gambit, they're some of my favourite tiles, but Hoth had HK-47 (sort of), so peeps wins there.

I must get around to painting some HKs. Some silver, one red.
