I'm was a big ARC-170 fan boy before the wave 9 news so this is my first and certainly not last attempt at making them relevant. New standard Dash with Nora flying into the teeth with a healthier HP value than Poe, I went BB-8 to avoid blockers and arcs over a regen droid. Ezra is going to make use of the focus die added, with Push and EU ensuring stress and TL to make Ezra work with Nora's inate ability. I'd love thoughts or tweaks.

Definitely something I'm going to consider running when the ARC comes out! The 2400 has always been a fave of mine as well, so it'd be cool to run them both.

Like the idea, but you have some anti-synergy on that Norra build. If you want to remain stressed to trigger Ezra, you can't trigger BB-8 on the next turn, and if you use BB-8/PTL stress clearing shenanigans you aren't using Ezra.

Maybe Ezra/PTL/RegenDroid would work well.

better off with Kanan for helping dash (Won't trigger bb-8 because your maneuvers are still white) or, more realistically, c3po to not get utterly obliterated

So probably will switch to R5-K6 not sure I can squeeze in R2-D2 and R5-P9 doesn't really fit in this build, I'm gonna stick with Ezra for the synergy with the pilots natural ability. But Recon Spec with R5-P9 could work.

For Dash, Kanan is superior to Kyle, He makes the YT-2400 more or less impossible to catch.

So Kanan on Dash and Kyle on Nora seems like the way to go, except that you're getting like, three actions per turn with Nora. One is barrel roll, one is the action off PtL before movement, and one is the normal action after movement. So that's two on-BR actions.

Well, if you have Kyle then you get a free focus token from this trickery, but you get another two actions, and your only options are focus, TL and boost. You don't always need to boost, meaning that your normal actions then become TL and a second focus?

Not only that, but alliance overhaul already kind of gives you soft focus when firing out the rear arc. Kyle certainly isn't a bad option here, but I'm wondering if there aren't better ones.

Did anyone else notice that if you add Sabine with BB-8, you can fill your Torp slot with extra munitions and get some really tricky Prox Mines or Conner Nets? Think about it: You can barrel roll in any direction, then either PtL to drop an action bomb before OR after the maneuver triggers, giving you a ton of options for ace snaring.

C-3P0 is a solid include on a ship with one agility, and Tactician is twice as nice on ships with multiple arcs.

In addition to those fine options, Nien Numb and Navigator both open up additional maneuver choices that may be worth considering, depending on the dial. Nien Numb will increase the usefulness of BB-8, while Navigator will allow you to reveal a green maneuver to trigger BB-8, then shift to a white maneuver afterwards. The problem with Navigator is that you lose the option to trigger PtL off of BB-8 and then still clear the stress, since you'd be switching to presumably a non-green maneuver.

Just some food for thought.

Biophysical did suggest in another thread the very interesting r3-a2 + KK combo on Norra

it's, I believe, the only way to get full mods outside PTL for her ability and it frees up her ept

funnily enough, it'll also benefit from kanan if you're close enough to Dash

Norra with VI, KK, and r3-a2 is 35 + whatever you need for vector thrusters or EU at your leisure. She'll make the aces that hate Dash hate her instead

I like he idea of the Stress Hog Norra but it leaves extra points on the table for a Dash Build, but knowing how BB-8 works with Kyle and PTL I think those together will leave a wealth of options. Now you can use your TL on offense plus one of your Focus tokens, you can push for a second or get out of arc with boost. I agree Kyle on Norra and Kanan on Dash. Only risk is TL an arc dodger that gets on your flanks but with an aux arc should be more difficult.
