FFG has yet to announce a release date for Veterans. We're all hoping they will do so soon.
At this rate it won't be out till gencon.
If it's legit there will probably be an announcement of the shipping date tommorow .
I am guessing they will have a preliminary release at Origins at the National Championships June 15-18. They would probably like to have some major sales there. Then a regular release later in the month.

Amazon's dates change a lot. Hound's Tooth moved dates like 3 times on amazon before finally coming out.
I think they've use the ship with Imperial Veterans in the search for Malaysia Flight 370. No conclusion on the horizon.
I want it to be out before 2nd of July! It is the Regional of Quebec City and I want to fly defenders!

Like many people I pre ordered Vets as all indicators pointed to an April even May release. Its the second week of June and still no word. I will never ever ever buy anything pre order from FFG again, this has to be one of the worst incidents in customer service for a silly game. I mean whats the point of the lack of information? I want 3 of the 4 ships from wave 9, but I will not be paying a cent until it is 100% in stores.
It feels like Video Game companies when they say pre order our game and get free DLC, we all know the DLC was meant to be in game material anyway. Never doing pre order again!

What indications of april or may? The only "date" ever given by FFG was Q1, which anyone who's been around for past waves knows it'll WON'T be out in Q1. It didn't go on the boat until March 30th, which meant it wouldn't be out till mid-late may at best, and could easily go into June.
And you didn't pre-order from FFG I'm assuming (since I don't know of any way to do so), so any dates you saw with preorders were from the company you ordered from, not from FFG. Go complain to them about bad customer service if you're gonna complain. FFG couldn't care less if you preorder or not (I never have, and it's never been aproblem for me to just buy them day 1)

More like you should just never believe the dates given by any retailer. None of them know when the stuff will be out, they just make it up. If you're pre-ordering, you don't do it to get the ships by a certain date, you do it to make sure you get them in hand as soon as they release (and don't have to worry about local shops being sold out).
Paying for something before it is in your hands is generally a bad idea. I realize some places have no other choice, and that makes me sad.

The date could be accurate-ish. The product had totally disappeared from Amazon (US) and is now back but only from third party sellers. Sooooooooooooooooon.
When I preorder a wave of ships, I typically make the order sometime between shipping now and in stores now. Never while still on the boat.
I dunno, I have enough ships to keep me busy and I enjoy the surprise email that my order has shipped plus I don't have to stress money at all knowing I already paid for it.

This is exactly why I preordered the expansion.
Already paid for and I will have the expansion when it releases. Its not like I'm buying a video game where there is no guarantee that it will be released in a finished state.
Never pre-order video games....

I only wish that FFG would stop with any Q1-Q2 etc release date. They have never been ontime.
It would be easier just to say "X item in development" and leave it like that. Then the week prior to the release date give us the date available.
It would stop alot of the frustration, and anger that customers feel and post.
Or at least give us some info as to why the delay. I think most people would understand and not be so pissed if FFG just came out and said "Hey, sorry for the delay. Having issues with production, distribution, etc. We will keep you informed."
