Given that the Star Wars RPGs are broken up by thematic campaigns much like the Warhammer 40000 RPG books are, one common type of book that I haven't seen in any line yet has been an Adversaries/Bestiary book.

I would imagine that an Age of Rebellion adversaries book could contain a lot of the elite Stormtrooper units (501st, Nova Troopers, etc), and possibly even include mercenaries and the like that might be locally detrimental to Rebellion forces. There might even be a good argument for putting in local rebel forces that don't answer to Alliance High command.

Just curious to see if anyone else, as potential customers, would similarly be interested in this kind of product.

Finally, I really, really do not want anyone "Plot Critical" to have stats in these books. No Tarkin, no Vader, etc. If the book wants to introduce it's own generals, elite force commanders, and the like, that would be great.

I think that it would be a good idea to have an Bestiary/Enemies Book. That way it is really easier for the GM to look up, instead of having to look though 15 different books.

Odds are we won't see that sort of "compilation book" until the RPG line is dwindling to a close.

Since the Strongholds of Resistance is the source book for Alliance Worlds, I think it is reasonable to expect a similar one for Imperial Worlds. Maybe Under the Emperor's Will or something catchy like that. As far as a Bestiary, I have a copy of Ultimate Adversaries from the WotC d20 system, so I intend on just converting those over to to this system, should not be very hard I think.

Between the pretty good selection of NPCs available in the Core book, and how easy it is to customize NPCs to match a specific requirement, I really see no need for a book like that.

Sorry, I'm voting "Nay" on a Star Wars Monster Manual, there's too many other things I'd rather FFG spend it's time on.

They actually have made the product you are looking for in the ultra-cheap Adversary decks for the RPG. There is an Empire and Rebellion one, as well as a Creatures one recently announced. For 7.95 a piece, you can get two of these that basically cover the content you're asking for, and do it in a way that is much more portable and useful at the table than a book.
