I do not understand Pico. What happens after you place Pico in a search token space?
Ronan/Pico
Ok. Ronan says that Pico works in the following way:
1. When Ronan is near a search token during HIS turn, he can put Pico on it. Pico doesn't block movement or LOS.
2. Another hero, during HIS turn, can search that token for free if he is adjacent.
3. Once the search token is gone, Pico returns to Ronan's sheet.

Sounds like you're talking about the new Heroes and Monsters collection Pico.
This Pico assists the heroes by saving them a search action. The way it works is that during Ronan's turn, he can place Pico on a search token within 3 spaces of him.
Then, on another hero's turn, they can move adjacent to the search token and search it without using an action. Pico is then returned back to Ronan's hero sheet.
Its a pretty great ability, as it can save the heroes many actions, however it does require coordination between two heroes.
On a side note, this makes Ronan a good choice for Scouts that don't already have search-enhancing abilities. He is less useful when playing as a Thief with Greedy, or as a Treasure Hunter, because Ronan himself is not doing the searching. Consider Ronan as a Bounty Hunter, Stalker or Wildlander, in my view.
(Zaltyre beat me by about 10 seconds. Impressive!)
Edited by CharmyBut your answer is so much more thorough.
to be simple : Pico saves (or spare you the cost of) an action, since making a search action cost 1 action on the two you have on a round but not if Pico is on it, so it's a free search action.
But anyone except Ronan can do this.
That's all (folks)
Edited by rugalThank you all for your replies. Can you point me to the rules source for the above replies. I believe your answers, I would just like to read the black and white.

I linked the Ronan and Pico card images in my response- I believe all the information is there.
Specifically, Ronan's hero ability tells you:
-where Pico starts each encounter (on his hero sheet)
-how/when you can place Pico on the map.
Pico's card, on the other hand, tells you in the first paragraph:
-how another hero uses Pico to search
and in the second paragraph:
-the conditions under which Pico returns to Ronan's sheet (being on the map in any space not containing a search token, which is true whenever the search token he was placed on disappears, such as by being searched).
Edited by ZaltyreWow thanks i did not realize that there was a Pico card from the conversion kit and the hero and monster set. Thanks for clearing the fog for me.

You're welcome. Yes, Bonds of the Wild has new cards for Pico, Skye, and Brightblaze. Their cards have new information from those which came in the CK. Old Pico won't work with new Ronan, etc.
