Another Protectorate Fighter.

Had this one kicking around for a while,

So I thought I would finish it today while I had a few spare hours. it uses the Main cockpit from a Pro-Fighter and the rest is all plastic card.

I painted it to Match the rest of my Mandalorian Commando Squadron......

That last picture of the two modded Protectorates is just too cool.

Those are some excellent looking fighters. Good job on mods especially.

This Easter Break is allowing me to finally get my Custom Firespray finished so ill be posting finished pics of that soon.

And starting my YT-1930 "Which i'm Itching to get on with but wont start until the Firespray is done ! "

Well, Its about time i got this thing FINISHED !

So Today I finished all of the Surface detail on the Firespray and primed the model ready for final paint tomorrow.

This model has been Dragging on for to long, so its good to finally get it ready for the paint stage.

And I have decided to go back to my Original idea of painting it up in the same colour as the Klingon Bird of Prey.....I just Love that Colour Scheme !

The Model has now been Sprayed Black and ready for tomorrow when I start Shading in Alternate shades of Green in the Panels.

And then the Red on the raised sections of the wings, which is what they were originally intended for.

Ill post more Photos in the week when the Model is Finished.

Looks like something the Dark Eldar would go reaving in.

Getting on with the Painting....now patiently waiting for the first coat of Ink to dry.

Sprayed Black first for the Depth of the green over sprays.

Green over spray applied over the black and simple blocking in of alternate greens for the panels.......

Thick coating of Citadel Nuln Oil and now waiting for it to dry to begin weathering and panel shading.......

Should have it finally finished soon then on to the next Fun Project

Its Nice to get this one finished as I have had it on the Modelling table for nearly a year now.

And with this model now finished I can finally start on my next Modified Hot Rod

Here is the Finished Firspray, Inspired by a Klingon Bird of Prey.............

With the Firespray now finished I can finally get on with the next Model...................

Turning a Heroes of the Resistance Model Falcon into a YT-1930......Been itching to get on with this one.

But not until the Firespray was finished.

Its one of the things that always griped at me about the look of the firespray.

The canopy looks too large.

And I always thought it would look better with bigger wings.

So it was nice to get around to " having a play with the shape "
