TALONBANE COBRA.

I wanted something different for Cobra.

For someone who can roll 5 dice when in close, The Khiraxz looks a bit week with those piddly Cannons !

So I wanted something that carried a bit more firepower for Cobra.

So I added some parts from a spare Protectorate, Vertical stabilisers, Larger laser cannons and the Khiraxz wing tips.

Should have it painted tomorrow.....once I decide on the Paint scheme.

all painted now, and just sorting out the Pics now........

Couldn't think what to do with regards to painting the Custom Kihraxz.

So I decided as He's Cobra, Give him some Cobra colours.

Some tones on the Browns and Beige of the King Cobra.

I didn't want to go over the top and do a Scale finish......only had a few hours today to paint it !

but I did do something similar for the under belly and the " Eyes " on the back of the Cobras head.

Nice little easy build, Yesterday afternoon scratching it together, and this afternoon quickly painting it.

Ready for the Big game next weekend

That's it for now.

Not sure when Ill get more time to play with more plastic and Paint as the Work is picking up to the point i'm starting to work all weekend as well !

So not much time for Xwing mods at the moment, although I do get to Enjoy a good game next Saturday Eve with a load of Friends.

Dengar, Bossk, Kavil, Palob in the Hwk, Fen Rau and Cobra.

Its an odd Point system Game, as we play once a month between three of us. 200 points in a three way fight !

although this time its 250 points.

each time we rotate factions and so get a lot of variety.

I found these babies about the time SCUM became real to the game. I wanted a crazy heavy ship and even tried to make some of these from crazy micro machines but they looked meh. Anyhow this design was done years ago for a STAR WARS game. The design was approved but then the whole game was cancelled. I think it had something to do with the SCUM UNDERWORLD RPG that lucas cancelled because he decided to sell his STAR WARS to Dat MOUSE.

These badass ships would of been in STAR WARS... coulda-shoulda... but no.

When you hunt up Mandalorian Navy they show up in the top line of images...

I will take Pics of them during the 250 point Game......Although I don't expect to win against Imperial's and Rebels in this 3 way fight
