Actually, no I do see it now. I mean, I didn't think it was as good as it sounded but I did initially find the wording vague.

So, I have to ask on the BCC doubling up thing.....If you can't use the effect twice on the same die from two different cards, why does Vader allow a re-roll, then you can leading shots the SAME die, THEN, if your on an ISD 1, go ahead and use OE on that die a third time? Or any of this in any order, really) None of these things take the card name into effect, just the effect of the card, so why wouldn't multiple effects of BCC work on the same die, since they are all triggered separately from the same shot?

because they are 3 different cards not copies of the same card

My argument would be that they are copies of the same card, and, by definition, three "separate" cards as well. And in the case of the rules, only unique cards on the same ship are not allowed. A single ship is in the radius of 2+ "effects" and therefore should get the benefit of all those effects. Is it broken? Maybe, but still seems like the right choice.

That is the way Drasnighta and I read it.

Each ship is different, even ships that have the exact same upgrades. That is why they need to be numbered (and to tell them apart). Regardless, FFG will make a ruling but ultimately, I don't see BCC's making much of an impact in this tournament. People are only taking 1 by the looks of it since they wont stack.

Nav teams: Your nav tokens can either change your speed or increase your yaw value by 1.

Madine:... If it spent a Nav token, it may either change its speed or increase 1 yaw value by 1."

This was my interpretation as well for Madine (i.e. nav token gives you speed or yaw change, period), and that's how we'll run it for the tournament. :)

So what about Nav team with Madine? Madine says if you "spent" a nav token. So if you spent it with Nav teams to get a click does Madine give you another one? I actually think it would, since it doesn't say what you need to have spent the token for. The wording "spent" also argues for it being additional, but I can see it both ways. Personally I was hoping Madine would give incentive to actually use nav teams for once.

Madine and nav teams both perform the same role, allowing for the same alternate use of a Nav token. Unless FFG rules otherwise, do they not stack. :)

This just means Madine lists don't need no Nav Teams, and Nav Teams don't need no Mo'dine. :P

Fleet builds are due by commencement of round one. I've added a default fleet to the build thread - those who do not get their fleet submissions in by the deadline MUST play with the default fleet build in round one.

(it's not a bad build, but you must yell "GO FULL JAR JAR" on every ship activation... so yeah, miss the deadline at your peril, fellas) ;)

Wave 3 finally allows for a meaningful full Jar Jar spam, so I expect to see several of them in a tournament.

Remember to have your fleet selection finalized and posted by Wednesday June 22nd 0001 GMT (commencement of round one). If you don't, or if the latest edit of your fleet post is after this time, you're stuck going Full Jar Jar for round one. ;)

Edit: Oh, be sure to double-check your fleet post is accurate. When I put up my old Jar Jar list, it was missing the ship titles. Warlords is an awesome fleet builder, but it can sometimes be a little glitchy with saved fleets. :)

The edit procedure has been updated in April/May, any previous fleet may had bugs, especially with Titles, but if you try to edit any list now, including old ones (better new ones anyway), you will have a 100% fail-safe experience :)
